First of all I owned all these movies on DVD before hand and the quality upgrade to the Blu-Rays is great. The image is much sharper, the colors are better, and the light and dark scenes are easier to see. As for the movies, Batman and Batman Returns are great (Returns is my favorite). Batman Forever is not a great movie but Jim Carrey carries the movie from being a bore to at least being a fun if not fully intriguing watch. Batman and Robin is a bad movie, but the good thing is, it knows it's bad. As long as you watch it knowing it's trying to be over the top and fun with itself, you will have an enjoyable time.

Batman and Batman Returns are both fantastic films by Tim Burton spearheaded by an amazing performance by arguably the best Bruce Wayne / Batman Michael Keaton. Batman Forever is a fun enough movie if only to see Jim Carrey playing the part he was born for in The Riddler. Batman Forever is more a comedic film that is fully aware how dumb it is. It is a fun film to make fun of and watch with friends in a comedic way. All four films look really great in Blu-Ray, displaying a significant upgrade from the DVD versions. This is a great collection.

It has been quite a while since these four Batman movies were released but they have great casts and directors:
Batman (1989): Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, directed by Tim Burton 126 min
Batman Returns (1992): Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, directed by Tim Burton 126 min
Batman Forever (1995): Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell, directed by Joel Schumacher 122 min
Batman and Robin (1997): George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, Chris O'Donnell, directed by Joel Schumacher 125 min
I had standard definition versions of these movies but the Blu-Ray versions are essential if you are going to watch them on a big screen TV.
Grab this bargain collection - you won't be sorry!

I haven’t seen Batman (1989) since it first came out in theaters and had been wanting to re-watch it when it reached Blu-Ray. I can remember watching Returns on HBO and have never seen the last two until now.
Batman (1989) on Blu Ray is awesome and so glad to own it on this format. Soundtrack is ok for late 80’s technology. Picture transfer is clean and looks really good.
Batman Returns on Blu Ray looks good and soundtrack is good as well. Must have for any person that grew up with the Keaton Batman!
Batman Forever is a ok movie and the soundtrack has improved. Picture quality is ok, just wasn’t a fan of how they jumped back to make it more like the Batman with Adam West. I liked the Tim Burton films more.
Batman and Robin was awe full, awe full soundtrack (sound was grimy and dialogue sounded like a busted speaker. Picture quality sucked and the story line was super cheesy.
Overall you get all four Batman movies all in a single Blu Ray case with 4 Blu Ray discs each having special features or deleting scenes for that movie. Must have for any Batman fan looking to add to their library.

Before the Bale trilogy there were these movies. Michael Keaton is Batman in the first two. The last movie Batman and Robin is a YMMV movie. Great package of four movies of the dark knight.

You really cant beat the price to have all these classic Dark Knight flicks in one purchase. I miss the campy yet dark undertones of movies like these that are truly unique in the Batman franchise. A great buy! Best buy!

It was such a great deal four Bluray movies in one case. And not to mention old movies! I couldn't ask for a better price. I don't think you can buy those movies anywhere else. So thank you for having them.

Box set containing four films from the popular 'Batman' film series. 'Batman' (1989) was the first big screen outing for Bob Kane's caped crusader. The streets of Gotham City are no longer safe for criminals, who are being picked off by a masked vigilante in a rubber suit - dubbed 'Batman' by the press. Reporter Alexander Knox (Robert Wuhl) teams with photographer Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) in an attempt to discover Batman's true identity - an investigation which leads them to the door of mysterious millioniare Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton). Meanwhile, crime boss Carl Grissom's (Jack Palance) attempt to rid himself of untrustworthy henchman Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson) does not go according to plan, and after emerging physically - and mentally - disfigured from a vat of chemicals, Napier reinvents himself as the psychotic Joker. In 'Batman Returns' (1992), Oswald Cobblepot was abandoned by his parents as a baby. Thirty three years later, bent on revenge, he returns to Gotham City as the Penguin (Danny DeVito). First he begins a warped campaign to become Mayor, helped by millionaire businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken); next, he undertakes a mission to murder every first born son in Gotham - a plan which will avenge his own beginnings. Meanwhile, he has two adversaries to contend with: Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer), the embittered ex-secretary of Max Shreck, and, of course, the old caped crusader himself (Keaton). In 'Batman Forever' (1995), former District Attorney Harvey Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) is terrorising Gotham City, when a new villain appears on the scene - the Riddler (Jim Carrey). Together they plot to discover Batman's (Val Kilmer) identity, using a device which can probe the human mind. Meanwhile, the caped crusader has been joined by Robin (Chris O'Donnell), whose trapeze-artist family have recently been slain by Two-Face. 'Finally, in 'Batman and Robin' (1997), Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (O'Donnell) have to stop the vengeful Mr Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from taking over Gotham City by using his new ice weapon. To make matters worse, the venomous Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) decides to join forces with Freeze, so making an almost undefeatable double-whammy of a team. Luckily for the caped crusader and his rebellious ward, they can team up with a new tough and courageous new partner - Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone

This multi title package is the perfect complement for those of us who purchased the 4K steel book collection, only to find that the Blu-ray discs with all of the special features were not included. I ordered this so that I would have all of the special features and thankfully it was value priced at $15.99.

If you liked the old batman movies this is a great collection of the four original silver screen movies. Michael Keaton plays a great batman. Nice to see a lot of different batman bad guys.

The classic movies in one spot and fairly cheap. If you've only seen the newer Batmans, these are going to seem slow and boring, especially the first one where my son pointed out you don't even get to see Batman for the first 20 min or so of the movie. These are what I grew up on though and are worth owning
