Big campy fun with a lot of notable guest stars as villains. Modern day Batfans might not dig the ethos or the presentation, but if you think the 60's were where it was at, this is the cat's knees. Or something.

Grab this one up! The only negative I can say is that there is no Frank Gorshin as the Riddler ( John Astin is not as bad as has been reported). You have the episodes here of the 3 part team up of the Joker, Penguin. The giant Oyster eating Robin, the Croc Pit, and the episode with Leslie Gore as Catwoman's protege and Robin being brainwashed into working with Catwoman and having the hots for the teenage Pink Cat girl! Also the Green Hornet episode and the visit to London to fight crime! Also the debut of Vincent Price as Egghead! The last season was terrible , even with Bathirl! No 2 parters, no Aunt Harriet, smaller budgets, and terrible sets with a black tarp used over and over. But this set!

I watched this with my nephew and he said this was not the real batman. I told him that is was better because this batman was tough but funny. I loved the nostalgia while he loved the action and easy to follow plot. The one problem I had was the format of having 2 parts for season 2. I didnt realize it until I got the first part. The series faced many obstacles to get to us but I am glad it did.

I remember watching Batman I just don't remember the details of each episode. Watching this is so entertaining with all the special guest villains. A new villain every week plus a famous person peering out of the building window asking Batman how he's doing. Can't beat this DVD. It looks great and I don't even have the blu ray version. A must have for any Batman fan who watched as a little kid.

Loved the show as I was growing up. This DVD set contains one of my favorite episodes which is the Green Hornet crossover episodes. For those die hard fans, getting the complete series is also recommended, however at the right price on sale, this DVD set is worth the price.

Ever since these DVDs from the 60's Batman TV series came out I've bought every single box of them. I was a huge fan of the series when I was a little kid and now I get to see them with my son and introduce him to this excellent piece of Pop Culture. A must own.

A fun watch from 60's TV. The first 2 seasons were good, with cliff hangers, good villains, and a nice budget. Only thing missing is Frank Gorshin in season 2. A couple of 3 part episodes with villain team ups, and an appearance of the "Green Hornet" here.

Brings back good old memories of childhood and television watching. Easy to follow, not complicated or graphic, clean fun good vs bad. No wild, crazy, undesirable special effects. Good for children viewing. Brings a smile of how they use to make shows.

I remember watching this series as a child and I am so very excited to be able to show this to my boys this holiday season. They are huge Batman fans and it will be great to show them a less violent, more campy version.

If you grew up watching this show, then you know what it is. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this release as the quality is good. In fact, I thought the picture was outstanding for how old the show is. Season 1 was the best and it holds up for most of Season 2 but even the biggest fan must admit that the quality dropped off in Season 3.

It was a fun show with live action that drew me in as a child. I just hated the cliffhangers which isn't an issue when you have the whole season.

I remember eating afternoon snacks after school and watching Batman reruns. The second season may not be quite as good as the first, but it is still awesome. I'm very happy these finally came out on DVD.

I loved format of the show. They would put the heroes in a death trap at the end of the first episode to which you would have to wait to see how they escaped when the show originally aired.

If you watched the series as a child, you will like the DVDs. Plus, the clarity of the DVDs allows you to notice things that you did not see watching the show on the old analog tv set.
