Big campy fun with a lot of notable guest stars as villains. Modern day Batfans might not dig the ethos or the presentation, but if you think the 60's were where it was at, this is the cat's knees. Or something.

Grab this one up! The only negative I can say is that there is no Frank Gorshin as the Riddler ( John Astin is not as bad as has been reported). You have the episodes here of the 3 part team up of the Joker, Penguin. The giant Oyster eating Robin, the Croc Pit, and the episode with Leslie Gore as Catwoman's protege and Robin being brainwashed into working with Catwoman and having the hots for the teenage Pink Cat girl! Also the Green Hornet episode and the visit to London to fight crime! Also the debut of Vincent Price as Egghead! The last season was terrible , even with Bathirl! No 2 parters, no Aunt Harriet, smaller budgets, and terrible sets with a black tarp used over and over. But this set!

I watched this with my nephew and he said this was not the real batman. I told him that is was better because this batman was tough but funny. I loved the nostalgia while he loved the action and easy to follow plot. The one problem I had was the format of having 2 parts for season 2. I didnt realize it until I got the first part. The series faced many obstacles to get to us but I am glad it did.
