Batman was the first live action comic book super hero TV series I'd seen. It was a worldwide thrill for everyone everywhere in the U.S. and more. It also featured popular Tv movie actors and entertainers.

Nothing like Tvs Batman, Adam West is the best, A must have

BATMAN is as corny as I remember but still great fun and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I'm pretty happy about Batman the Series being released on DVD, but I have to let you all know my raw feelings and impressions; 1. Picture: Beautiful picture, very sharp and crisp. 2. Audio: VERY GOOD, except for the PILOT EPISODE, the rest of them definitely sound remastered. 3. Special Features; absolutely NONE. Kind of a dissapointment. 4. One perk, is that this is NOT in letter box format, and what a relief that is! That was something I was worried about, but the ratio is the same as you remember watching it when you were a kid! 5. NICE COMPACT case! (The same standard size case that usually houses a single DVD, manages to house 5!!) BARE BONES, but overall- I'm just very happy to have it on DVD finally!

My grandchildren love these shows. They like the bright colors of the film sets upon which the action was shot, the campy acting, the rousing musical score, the "Biff", "Bam" and "Pow" call outs and the fact that the Penguin, Joker and Catwoman are familiar villains to them that have been in the more recent Batman movies. The Riddler also appears in some episodes as well.

As a huge fan of this series and having grown up watching it each day after school, I loved being able to find the individual seasons finally on disc. The complete BR set was way overpriced, and the DVD set was a bit pricey as well, but the quality is excellent. I actually compared the recorded first episode with the dvd first episode, and the difference is amazing.

What a treat!! For those who grew up on the original tv series there was nothing like it. With its outlandish characters and over the top campiness. Every episode took you on an adventure and an escape. We hung on the edge of our seats pondering the outcome and fate of Batman and Robin as they battled ruthless villains in impossible situations.

I had not seen the Adam West series in many, many years, and was wondering how I'd feel about it. I'm happy to report I've had a blast with season one. And the remastering job here is top-notch. The colors really pop off the screen! Great for anyone who loves Batman (but doesn't take their comic book characters TOO seriously) or 60's t.v. in general.

These Batman tv episodes were some of the best campy comedy and I didn't even know it a kid, when all I cared about was the "biff" "bam" and "poof" of the fight scenes and dressing up with a "cape." They don't make tv like this anymore, but they should. The DVD quality picture is SOOO much better than our old 25" fuzzy antenna tv console of the 60's.

Although the acting is corny and cheesy at best, I still enjoy watching this series because the characters intentionally ham it up so even the most violent episodes are diffused...and that makes the series a long running success because the good guys always win.

I bought this because it was on sale on Black Friday, so I decided it was a low investment to see if my son liked the original Batman series. He watched every episode within a week or two. He thought it was fun and funny and interesting. He has asked me all of the Riddler's riddles.

Fans of superhero slapstick will enjoy this first season. For some of us, it's a walk down memory lane, but if you're too young to remember that - and you like 'Batman Brave and the Bold' - you'll enjoy this 1960s version of the caped crusaders.

I have had a few kitchen aid mixers I have loved them all. A few things that I really like about this one is the glass bowl with measurement lines, handle and pour spout. I also love the tool with the scraper/spatula side it works great.

I love the campy Batman - I know that everybody is all about the Dark Knight Batman movies, but this is the Batman I grew up with. I wish there was a show like this now that could get celebrity guest villains like Batman did.

cheesy but classic! I love the old Batman show even though it's not as good as the new ones it's still fun and a good collection and I got the first two seasons from Best Buy for a good price so I would recommend to all fans.

This brought back so many memories and a lot of family bonding as we sat around the living room watching some good old Adam West. It has good image and sound quality, and we were more then pleased with this purchase.

I was going to wait for this to come out on individual blu ray release but it looks like it might not happen. Plus I got a great deal when I bought this dvd. It sounds and looks great. The reason I gave this less stars is because it doesnt have too many special features just some old commercials. They probably saved all the best features for the boxset. I would still recommend this if you cant afford the big box set.

I grew up watching this as a child so this brings back many memories! Excellent for the time this was made, and no it's not Christopher Nolan Dark Knight, which I enjoyed ridiculously, it is Adam West at his finest!

This is good clean Batman that children can enjoy before they are old enough for the tougher more gritty Batman movies. Classics like these never go out of style. My young nephew already loves it.

Okay, so I've been a Batmaniac since 1966. I was two. This show broke my brain. It's still the best, and it has taken way too long for it to be released on disc. About Bat-time. Seriously, though.
