These days, Batman is a very psychologically and complex character, but in the 1966 Batman TV series, he is fun and lovable. To be honest with you, I bought the '66 TV series because I fell in love with Julie Newmar (the '66 Catwoman) when I was in the 4th grade of elementary school. Still love her till this day. I always thought that she was very sexy, and a great Catwoman! Awesome Bluray! All episodes appear in here and also comes with a booklet containing brief information about each episode. Julie Newmar is super beautiful and the coolest! Love this fun show!

Purchased this shortly after the death of Adam West (Rest In Peace), as a tribute to the late great actor. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this box set. The case itself comes with some beautiful artwork, featuring both the caped crusaders and some of their arch enemies. Regarding the discs, they too have eye-popping artwork, all of which ties in to the campy and colorful atmosphere of the show. The picture quality of the discs are very high, as they are in full 1080p, so the colors of the costumes are very crisp. The discs also feature tons of extra features. If you watched the shows when you were younger, or are just Batman fans in general, I would highly recommend!

I remember when watching the 60's Batman series in syndication when I was a kid and thought it was great! Then 1989 came and everything changed and the other incarnations of Batman (some great...). I'm glad to have bought this set and rediscover this Batman. Yeah, some of it is way over the top (the Bat-Watusi?) but for the most part, this is great fun and you'll laugh. I love the Keaton, Bale and now Affleck Batman incarnations...but sometimes you can't be all serious.

One of the best moments in TV history was when this over the top creation of comic book lore burst onto the scene (and screens) of American households. Adam West (R.I.P.) is memorable as Batman/Bruce Wayne holding his own against a slew of Rogue's Gallery of Villains (Cesar Romero as Joker , Julie Newmar as Catwoman , Burgess Meredith as Penguin , Frank Gorshin as Riddler - just to name a few). Sit back , hold your breath , and stay tuned for more action Bat-fans! BAM! POW! ENJOY THE RIDE CHUM!

There isn't much to be said about this item. It is the complete series of the television run in the 60s. It is campy and amazing. Introducing my 11 year old to it and she loves it, just as I did at her age. The blu-ray discs and box came in perfect condition. If you have been considering picking up the complete series, pull the trigger and buy this collection.

Picked the Blu Ray set up in Garner after hearing about it on XM Radio on the Mad Dog Channel. Comes in a nice box case with a pamphlet inside the box with highlights on each episode. I have watched the first 3 shows. 1 and 2 was the dastardly Ridder up to his no good. Episode 3-4 feature the Penguin selling tricked out umbrellas. LOL The video on the TV is very sharp. If your a Batman fan from back in the day, you need to pick this one up.

Hilarious! So many adult jokes I didn't catch when I was a kid makes this so much better. It was meant to be campy, but when I watch it today it's so much more appreciated. The picture is pristine and the work they put into remastering is top notch and I wish they would do this to all television shows!
