Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were such a huge part of my childhood growing up between the 1987 tv series, the 1990 movie, amongst the others, and the Playmates toy line. Batman Begins was where my love for Batman came into play. So to see these two come together in the comics and then to a movie was just so well balanced and fun and enjoyable to watch. The serious tones and joking manner between the DC and TMNT characters, both hero and villain, works really well. Troy Baker was very impressive voicing Batman and the Joker. His Batman reminds me a lot of Kevin Conroy's Batman, which is superior. Characters are strong and fun to watch. Watching in 4K is a treat as well. Great movie all around.

For any comic book fans out there who’ve read the Batman & the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles graphic novels, you already know how amazing this pairing is. And getting to see this adapted to an animated film is just as rewarding! The voice cast and animation is really fantastic. Each character really FEELS like each character. And they do not hold back at all in this movie. This isn’t something that’s been watered down to be kid friendly. The action scenes are intense and brutal and There’s moments of blood and broken bones. What’s most fun is spotting all the homages and references to other Batman and Turtles films. There’s a ton of references to the 1990 Turtles movie which is widely regarded as the greatest TMNT film still to this day. If you’re a Batman fan or a TMNT fan or even just an animation fan, this is a great movie to pick up. It comes with 2 great special features about the movie, a sneak peek at the upcoming Batman Hush adaptation, and a free digital copy.

The idea of combining Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles worlds together had me curious as to how well they would work together. This story brings the two together when Batman's League of Assasins hires Shredder and the Foot Clan to get the technology needs to build a new powerful machine that will have the ability to transform and give powers to the League's assassins. When the turtles show up and interfere with Batman (and the Batfamily of characters) in his attempt to get ahead of the thefts the turtles and the bat comes to blows. It was surprising how good this story was and both sides of the coin wind up learning more about the importance of family along the way.

When the TMNT travel to Gotham to stop The Shedder and his secret partner from stealing tech you know they are going to have a run in with The Batman!! I had expectations going into this movie and they were all met and then some. You have amazing fight scenes with the Turtles VS DC villains, one of the best fight scenes involving The Batman and Shedder, and dare we say the TMNT going against The Batman and his crew?!?! So many laughs and enjoyable action scenes for the whole family! Great story and a must have for any TMNT or Batman fan growing up!!

This film has a good story and is crammed full of Easter Eggs and call backs to the long history of the TMNT and the longer history of Batman. Unfortunately the only Bat Family members in the film are Sir Alfred Pennyworth, Barbara "Batgirl" Gordan, and Damien Wayne. Tim "Red Robin" Drake and Richard "Nightwing" Greyson are missing from the movie. There are currently three seperate Comic story arcs that feature these characters. Hopefully we will see two more sequels to this movie.

When this was announced I was instantly excited but concerned. I haven't enjoyed most recent TMNT versions in movies. I had high hopes but was expecting disappointment. Overall, I thought the movie was terrific. There were a lot of jokes, most of which I did laugh at, and they occasionally felt shoe-horned in. But they weren't awful. The story was interesting and kept my attention. I could probably justify a 4 star rating but I'll make it 5 because of how good it looked in 4K.

As a huge Batman fan but a casual TMNT, I was expecting this movie was gonna be hit or miss for me. But not only is the direction of this movie phenomenal (seriously, how they frame and shadow shots is impressive from an art direction standpoint) it’s also a really well crafted movie with amazing action sequences (Batman vs Shedder is particularly) The only reał nitpick I had was the voice casting of Robin. Easily one of the best DC animated movies they put out in recent years.

Fans of "Batman," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," or both should definitely get this. If you want to see these two fan-favorite franchises come together and see how they interact with each other, this is a must-buy. Great writing, animation and performances really make this animated entry stand out. Also, if you ever wanted to see Batman take on the Shreddar or Leonardo take on Ra's Al Ghul, this is something to really check out. Definite recommendation.

Amazing movie to me. It isn’t too violent if you still want to tune in with the little ones, but it too kiddie to the point that you just set it on for them And find something else to do. This movie knocks on all of your favorite nostalgia feels at the same time! The first time you see Mikey geeking out about Batman, to being able to see Batman throw down with an unfiltered/uncut Shredder, could send all sorts of feels up your spine. Buy it if you are a big fan!

I enjoy this movie more than I thought I would. As a big fan of the Ninja turtles and Batman separately, not really sure if I could see them being together. I have heard there is a comic book series based on these two characters, but seen it on the screen, very enjoyable. The Ninja turtles were the same Ninja turtles that I remember back in the late '80s early '90s, Batman was a sort of version like the one from the animated series. With the whole rogue's gallery of Batman and watching shredder versus Batman, one word: tremendous. Highly recommend for fan of either of these characters.

2019 has already seen some great comic book films, and here is another one to add to the list! Two of my favorite childhood franchises (Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) are teaming up to take down bad guys (Ra's Al Ghul and The Shredder) who are up to no good in Gotham City! There's plenty of action, humor, and make sure you keep watching till the end of the credits!

Lots of 80s nostalgia in this one from the little Easter eggs for fan boys to the end comic cross overs. Good story well written. Little blood and some on screen deaths so small ones beware but I really really enjoyed it. As an 80s baby it was hard not to. Turtles Ghostbusters and batman where some of the hottest toys when I was growing up so maybe I am just that nostalgic.

Well, maybe not the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate, but it was still a good time. You get the Batman rogues gallery mixed with TMNT and mutations. It's a fun 'What If?' scenario. Good action and some humor mixed in at times to make it all the more enjoyable. A slightly above average DCAU film that is worth a watch. Oh, and the slipcover on this is amazing. If you're going to own this one, get it with the slipcover.

Really enjoyed this movie. The character changes were pretty awesome. The back and forth between Batman and Michaelangelo was hilarious. Not quite as kid friendly as I had hoped. My little girl loves the Ninja Turtles, but when the Joker showed up she was creeped out and done. Overall and enjoyable, fun movie.

I loved this animated movie. It had the same equal amount of both franchises and fights to make you feel like you werent being let down like other animated movies where groups only faced each other for 15 seconds. justice league vs teen titans for ex. lots of humor and fun for everyone whose a fan of batman or the tmnt.

We have watched this movie several times. The storyline stays with both character sets as Batman saves Gothem, and Turtles defeats Shredder. Yes,Joker and Shredder team up as well as Batman and Turtles. Turtles are hilarious as always. This is a great movie night recommendation, just have the popcorn ready.

Wasn't sure what to expect and turned out glued to the screen! Nostalgia sunk in hard and seeing the mostly PG turtles get dragged into the darkness of batman was awesome. I recommend it for old school fans and if you are getting it for your young ones beware there are scenes with blood and minor references.
