Battleborn is a lot of fun. This is a great game if you are a fan of Borderlands and Destiny, as it is essentially a mash-up of the two. Somewhat difficult at times single player, but matchmaking allows you to play with others and get past what can't be done alone.

My first thoughts when I saw the trailer for this game was how did this and Overwatch have such a similar concept. Like Overwatch I pass over this game but my friend kept telling me how fun it was and that it has a story mode. I finally made the leap and bought it for cheap and haven't been disappointed yet. Story reminds me of Borderlands, which is over the top as it is, and takes it to the next level. Haven't played the pvp mode so I can't speak on that but the characters are pretty straightforward when it comes to customization. After playing a few levels I found myself asking how did this lose to Overwatch again? If you and friends don't mind playing an over the top game then I definitely recommend getting Battleborn.

For $6 I couldn't pass this up; 2K is a solid studio and I figured this game was just brutally overshadowed by Overwatch. Having played for a few hours there are some bizarre design choices here; the 5v5 / MOBA style arenas are different than anything I've seen and the cast of characters is certainly...eclectic, if not outright weird. Skill trees are neat and allow a great degree of tweaking. The gunplay is nothing special; I have the same "meh" reaction from shooting an enemy as I had in Borderlands...just a total lack of impact. Online servers are sluggish overall compared to the AAA stuff out there. Overall, can't beat it for the price but you get what you pay for.

I am very familiar with all of the major shooters out there. I was pleasantly surprised when I played this game to discover that this was not a retread of what has already been done. This is a Moba with 3 main game modes, plus a full campaign. There are 25 characters at launch and 5 more characters and game modes will be added later on free of charge. There are plenty of different types of characters that will fit with most peoples play styles. You have Healers, Tanks ( large characters with a lot of health), snipers, sword fighters, and even some characters that call of duty fans will feel right at home with. I would suggest this game to anybody that is tired of your average shooter and is looking for a welcome change of pace.

I got a great deal on this fun game. If buying this at this great price, I also recommend spending $20 on the season pass so that you can unlock more characters and more story modes. It's a wonderful co-op game with cool graphics and game mechanics.

This BATTLEBORN title is really fun to play from its multiplayer aspect that it offers. you are to choose a mission and play as a low level player, and it is up to you to rank up in the AI aspect or in multiplayer. choose your mission and play as a hero!

Solid game overall. Characters were well designed. Campaign was not so good. Difficulties with match-making and loading time was long. Note Xbox Gold is required to play this game.

Not really my type of game but my hubby seems to enjoy it.

Really fun game! The characters of Battleborn are awesome! I've enjoyed exploring the ins and outs of characters like the sniper Marquis healer Miko, and every time I play I can earn further access to the amazing roster.

Fun all around game with a lot of content and good co-op action. It's similar to OVERWATCH in some ways and like Borderland in a lot of ways. So if you like them, you will like this game. Can't beat it for 10 bucks.

This was a fun game. I don't like playing it independently though- it's only interesting when my friends are playing with me online. Some of my friends don't like it so much, though so they don't want to play too.

This game is not a game to purchase if you are looking to play solo. If you have Xbox Live, then you can find groups to play through the campaign with. The characters are built well and each one has their own unique abilities which is sweet. The campaign missions are fairly long which is either good or bad depending on how much time you have to play. I have noticed that they typically take about an hour to complete. I have not tried out the multiplayer as J am more of a co-op gamer, so if that is what you are looking for, check with a different review.

Unfortunately overshadowed by Overwatch's release, this awesome game should not be overlooked. A fun combination of MOBA and shooter with a variety of modes. Coming from the guys who did Borderlands, the characters are all very different with a good balance and variety of powers. And, it is hilarious! This game does not get enough love. They add new levels and modes for free, and the extra characters can be bought with in-game currency or bought with cash. They keep it active with community events, free code giveaways, and free character skins. Highly recommend! Check it out now!

I only bought this for the campaign. It was a lot of fun, but pretty short. I got it finished in a weekend. Being as the game already dropped price twice, just wait it out for it to cost $20, then buy it

If you're looking for a cool shooter/moba this is for you. Lots of character variety and play styles are offered, so anyone can find something to their liking. Btw-this is not like Overwatch in any way.

Battleborn is a great multiplayer game for both kids and adults. At this time, this is a very low cost game with very high replay value, a lot of character diversity and easy matchmaking.

This game is seriously under rated, it has great characters and gameplay. From makers of Borderlands, so I'm impressed! Great buy!
