Bought it as a gift, he loved the game! Bought for a 13 yr old boy last Christmas. He loves it almost as much as assassins creed.

Battlefield 1 is a breath of fresh in in FPS. While not being quite historically accurate, it gives players an amazing play through experience. It’s a break from futuristic shooters like COD. It’s a must buy!

I found this game very challenging at first, but then REALLY got into it and LOVE it.

All I have to say is wow this game is really good the detail that went into this game is amazing. It plays great didn't think I would like this game but I was blown away. The multiplayer is good the maps are fun to play the only issue I have had is that it takes forever to find and load a match sometimes but once you're in it's worth the while.

This is a great game with amazing graphics, exciting gameplay, and a ton to do with both the single & multiplayer campaigns.

This game is a good shooter for multiple reasons. One reason is that it is pretty universal in terms of guns for the support, recon, medic, and assault. While it is not quite realistic to the time period based on the guns you use, it is not a ww1 simulator, its battlefield. It brought new game modes such as: Operations where you can play as defense which is defending the flags against the attackers who are trying to capture them. War Pigeons is where you get a pigeon, write a note (sort of like capturing a flag) and setting it free to gain a point out of three. And Fog of War which is Hardcore Team death match and normal team death match. The vehicles are improved, tour bullets can do damage to the planes (not much) and the dogfights seem better and more balanced. They added motorcycles with the seat on the side like in the movies. The artillary truck which has an AA gun on top of it and a Vickers Mk1 (the normal mounted machine gun in that game) and a new thing called Behemoths. If the enemy team is loosing in operations they will receive a behemoth on most maps you will get an Airship which is a blimp outfitted with powerful explosive round machine guns, and the pilot can drop bombs on top of it there are mounted machine guns (vickers mk1). On other maps where there is water you will receive a Dreadnought, this is a Cruiser with heavy hitting artillary and AA guns. The last behemoth is an Armourd train. This has the same guns as the Dreadnought but with added machine guns (for infantry). This is a fun game in all, but it is for the person who likes fast paced battlefield games, such as bf4 and bf3. So if you liked those games and hardline I would suggest getting this one.

This is the best first person shooter on the market. So fun. Great online play. Decent single player campaign presented as war stories. I used to like Call of Duty more than Battlefield, but this year, this game is so good that I cancelled by COD pre-order because I will be playing Battlefield 1 too much to have any time left for other games.

Nearly everyone who bought this game did so for the multiplayer, but I'm much more interested in the campaign. I've never been so emotionally invested in a video game story as I have been in the different ones presented here. It's worth a buy just for the campaign, and it is not buggy at all, unlike previous Battlefield installments.

I've always been a COD player and hated Battlefield because of the huge maps and amount of hiking you had to do to get to any action. This game if action packed. You still have huge maps but you can spawn right into the action. I also love the old school weaponry. Its way cooler than futuristic stuff you see in the latest COD.

In an era of what I call "Future shooters" there are very few First Person Shooter games based on historical wars, or even a faux history. As a gamer, I'm somewhat tired of the jet packs, lazer cannons, pulse gernades, plasma pistols, time jumps, space-warp, etc... The trope of the futuristic gameplay has been worn out. I quit the Call of Duty games because of them joining the ranks of Halo, TitanFall, Destiny, etc... I don't want another game like that. So when Battlefield 1 was announced, I was legitimately excited for the opportunity to play a game with historical vistas instead of galactic vistas. This game does a great job at being fun, telling great stories, and giving an honest look at the difficulties of the first World War. The controls in this game are very good and the graphics are exemplary! Simply one of the most beautiful console games to date. This game takes you through European and Arabian battles on Ground, Air, and some sea battle through telling of 5 different storylines with each their own set of missions and locals. If you're looking for a change of pace, then this is the game for you.

This is a Xmas gift for my grandson. I am sure he will love it. He asked for it so I think he knows all about it.

the single player missions are fun to play, as is the multiplayer. I didn't like the last battlefield game, Hardline, I never even bought it. I played the beta for Hardline and it just wasn't that fun. Battlefield 1 went the right way and reminds me of the old days of Battlefield. This is a great game, I love playing online.

It has been interesting playing a World War I game as I have not seen one before. I have finished a few episodes and the gameplay is smooth and interesting. The way to select an episode is a little confusing as it is not storyline based from what I have found so far. I am enjoying learning about the weapons and back story.

I read the other reviews and knew the game was good. I was not really looking forward to another FPS, but my friends got it, so I was going to join them too. The game is really well balanced, the maps are large, and there is a lot of fun to be had. Now, the some time needs to be invested to polish the gaming skills. 9/10

Pros- campaign fun. Great graphics. Fun to play. Cons- load times are ridiculous! Gets a little frustrating.

If you like battlefield games then you should like this. The campaign is fun but is 6 individual short stories that don't really tie together but is interesting to play. The multiplayer is where this game is fun to play. Could use with some more weapons and versatility. Don't try to play this game online like COD you have to be patient and don't spam the respawn if there is a medic near you. Also if you play as a medic use your equipment and save you teammates.

I haven't played the campaign but I will tell you that the multiplayer on this game is absolutely insane! HUGE maps with 64 total person battles, environmental destruction from tanks/missles ect, it really feels like your in an intense battle. It takes a little while to get used to the game, coming from something like COD. Also the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the loading times for this game are absolutely horrible, and I mean horrrrrible.

This game is absolutely unreal. The first time playing online with my friends, everything wasn't overwhelming. I would not shut my mouth about how cool the game was. The massive multiplayer, weapons, vehicles, and airplanes. A great game to break the futuristic bandwagon from Call of Duty. Truly going to be a classic.

My son plays this game often. Sometimes we take turns. Not a bad one.
