This is my first Battlefield i ever played, and i love it! Being along time CoD fan i must say Battlefield is way better, and it's not just because you can use vehicles it's everything in the game that's fun! Can't wait to play Battlefield 4!

This has been a great game. I was a long-time SOCOM player. However, SOCOM 4 let me down as I wanted something closer to the legendary SOCOM 2. Then I found Battlefield 3. I haven't thought about SOCOM since. This game is amazing. Although the campaign is just OK, I don't buy this kind of game for the campaign. I buy it for the online multiplayer. I was amazed at what you can do in this game. You can destroy buildings, fly jets and helicopters, drive tanks, APCs, dirt bikes, etc. Once I purchased this game on launch day, I haven't played any other games. I simply couldn't stop playing BF3 long enough. All of the DLC is great. It's been an ever-evolving game. DICE listens to their players/customers/fans and tweeks the game as is necessary to achieve balance in the game.

I always have high expectations from games that are developed by DICE, although I sort of list faith with MOH:W. I can tell you they have redeemed themselves with BF3 Premium edition though. I bought the standard edition when it came out but I recently traded it in for Borderlands 2. The standard edition didn't come with enough multiplayer options for me, and I was disappointed; that is until I purchased this. It was WAY beyond my expectations, and despite Frostbite issues, was flawless in every aspect. If you do not buy this game you will be missing out on $100 in FREE DLC, and you will be missing out on the best game to be released this year...well that is, until Black Ops 2 releases.

If you're looking for a multiplayer experience not like COD, then play BF3. Don't get me wrong, I love COD, all of them, but sometimes the multiplayer mode can get a little frustrating, and too "arcade-y". If you're looking for a more tactical experience, with wide open areas, huge maps and vehicles then BF3 is for you. The sound quality is amazing in this game, and the graphics are even better. With the right HDTV and Surround Sound setup, you'll feel like you're right there in the middle of a war. Plus this version comes with all the DLC, so there is endless replayability.

If your a fan of any of these games, you want this game and this version. Multiplayer is great. I will still play COD when I just want to run around and aimlessly shoot people but Battlefiled overall IMO is a MUCH better game. I'm sure i will get some negative responses ( I didnt really say nice things about MOH Warfighter) but I love this game.

it is a great game just a little complicated when you aint used to it

This game is incredible! I could sit and play for hours on end. The story itself was pretty good, helps you with your initial skills and provides a little background for the online maps you encounter (if you care about that). I love the variety of weapons and vehicles available. The only problem I have is the playstation network itself when playing online. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I get disconnected on a regular basis from either PSN or EA. I even have my area's latest fiber-optic internet. To say the least, it is maddening!!! A word of caution as a parent (again, if you care about this...), there is A LOT of swearing. My young boys have walked in a few times when the computer players are airing their creative and colorful grievances - definitely don't want to get that call from the principal.

Great game. If you are tired of the quick sniper or long knife as I am with the COD brand games then this is the game for you. This game is so much better then the COD BO2 game. The story line is good and the online play is amazing. There is nothing like running and gunning on the ground then switching to a helicopter. When using a sniper you actually have to line up the cross hairs and adjust for distance. Tank warfare is amazing. I love the tanks and APC's. This is so much better then the COD games. Can't wait until Oct. 29th. Going to be a good day. See you all on the battlefield.

It is a great game and really fun to play especially multiplayer.

DLC is not on the disk. It has to be download. With the large size, having it on disc would be better. Game is pretty good though.

It is a really great game that favorably compare to other first person shooters like the Call of Duty series.

Welcome reprieve from the twitch shooter that's become call of duty's multiplayer. incorporation of large vechicles on larger maps is a ton of fun. looking forward to the sequel.

i like this game a lot and i think that they are getting better in graphics and gameplay then call of duty and i would tell everyone to get this game

We love the game, it is everything they said it would be.

Battlefield 3's rewards and progression will keep you coming back to its online rumble for a long time. From adding heat-seeking missiles to an Anti-Aircraft Tank to simply changing camouflage, there's always a carrot dangling just out of reach -- if you can wrangle the score to earn it

Overall game is good but online graphics are no where close to that of the Call Of Duty series. If I had to buy one or the other Id go with the call of duty one.

This game is not for the novice player. It is so challenging that it is difficult to become involved with the game. We would recommend this for someone who is an advanced player or above.
