This game is one of those games that changes the landscape of gaming.

Requires a little more thought and pace than the standard shooter. Not a perfect game by any means. Didn't care much for the TV series style level layout.

This is for the single player campaign since I only play that. Bad stuff: 1) This game does not feel like battlefield...the episode format is boring. It should be called "CSI Miami - The Game " instead of Battlefield Hardline. If I wanted to watch a TV show I would have done just that, not bought a console game. 2) You cannot skip their intro videos before each episode. 3) Graphics are not so good and feel "cheap" compared to previous battlefields 4) No or minimal blood spatter when you shoot enemies - It takes the fun out of playing. Color of blood on floor looks black instead of red - monumentally stupid design. It feels like I'm looking at a PC game from 2002. 5) Some guns and their firing are not inspiring, some are. I still have to unlock many guns, so lets see. Same with episodes, hopefully later episodes are better implemented. 6) It seems as though the developers have focused on their own programming enjoyment rather than focusing on the user's game playing enjoyment. Wish the developer was Dice instead of Visceral, Visceral Games has not done a good job on this. Poorly designed and implemented. Overall, I'm not enjoying it as much as BF4 and BF3 single player. Good stuff: Nothing expressly stands out, except that its different from previous BF games .. cops n robbers theme, arrest ability, melee stick etc. But different doesn't necessarily mean good.

Battlefield mixes with Police Drama in this latest installment of the classic shooter series. Not your average BF game, more so SWAT. Wait for a sale.

This game didn't start very well due to poor driving mechanics and some confusing map/navigation screens. That said, by the end of the game I was thoroughly enjoying the story and the character controls. The highest difficulty level was challenging without being frustrating. I also liked that you could approach each mission in a variety of ways. If at first you don't succeed there's an option that doesn't include charging through the front door.

Don't know much about this game other than it keeps the boys busy!
