I have not touched the SP yet but I hear it is enjoyable. The MP is what I have played and find it extremely fun. The beginning is frustrating because you lack the powerful weapons, perks, scopes and other tools that other players have unlocked. I recommend the Hotwire game mode as an easy mode to accrue money to unlock better weapons and gear for the more "deathmatch" style gameplay. I do miss the environmental destruction that prior battlefield games had, this seems a little more lax but you can still blow up certain buildings and towers. It is a great game if you have a handful of friends that you can "squad" with. I'm happy with my purchase.. With the GCU I was able to purchase for $47 and also received a $10 reward cert! This Battlefield is a bit different than the past, as it's about being a detective and trying to catch/kill the bad guys. We really enjoyed playing the storyline campaign mode, and re-playability was a lot of fun.

I gave this game 3 stars because of the really cool aspects of the single player game. You have to investigate things and you can arrest people by flashing your badge. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to finish this aspect of the game. The multiplayer had a couple of cool things but the maps seemed small for the amount of players and did not feel as good as Battlefield 4. If you want some really cool action and weapons just stick to Battlefield 4, if you want some single player action that has real police weapons like tasers and a different style of play than wait until it is on sale.

Great Game that keeps it realistic unlike COD and it's Repetitive,Futuristic ideas that seem to kill the storyline and rely on multi-player to be good, If your looking for something realistic but not something repetitive Battlefield Hardline gives you the experience to play on the good or the bad side of the Law.

I've played Battlefield games since BF2. While it's not my favorite game genre, it's nice to be able to sit down at any time and just start shooting. This game is fun, particularly if realism is not important to you. I actually love the game mode Hotwire just because I like to drive cars around with abandon. However, this whole game is pretty short and the maps are disgustingly small. This whole thing should have been a BF4 expansion at a much lower cost. Get it cheap or get it used. Let's all stop EA from pushing annual installments just for money.

I bought this game for the multiplayer, so that is what I'll focus on here. It is mostly classic battlefield, but scaled down slightly. There are no tanks, jets, or attack helicopters. You do not spawn with rocket launchers or machine guns. There is still vehicle combat utilizing armored trucks, cars, transport and patrol helicopters, and heavier weapons can be picked up as map items. The new multilayer modes work well with this however, with hotwire being my favorite. This game is good, and while it does not replace a traditional, military themed, battlefield I do like the different objective based modes and the slightly different scale.

Not a bad single player campaign, pretty straight forward and fun to play as an officer in the drug enforcement sector. Typical Battlefield multiplayer that's still fun to play!

different compared to other battlefield. this you go after criminals and arrest or kill them instead of killing terrorist. but its good solid single player and good multiplayer

This game is not the same as previous releases. It is not military based, but rather police and theives. Heist mode gamelay is similar to rush, but a little faster. Campaign is very good but I haven't finished it yet. I have seen no multiplayer bugs that plagued BF4 so far.

Single player is entertaining as well as pm which I play constantly. Can't wait for new maps to play soon just wish mp graphics were little better buy overall very fun game.

I've loved Battlefield games since Modern Combat, and this one is the closest incarnation to that in years. It's cop vs robber, which is an interesting dynamic. Worth a buy, the campaign is solid and the multiplayer is easy to sit down and lose a day or two playing.

I enjoy the missions and the story was on point... I'm more of a COD person however this game def beats COD on the realistic side, other than that Cod is better

The campaign was really fun, but once you beat it, all you have left is multiplayer, which is good too. Overall, it will fill some time with decent gameplay.

It's awesome if you've never played battlefield and you like first peronality shooters like call of duty your in for a treat. This one has a main version of cops verse criminals. Play on either side of the law. This game doesn't use someone's xbox in the game like a server like COD because there are up to 66 players in a match. It has dedicated servers to choose from. It also has a multitude of vehicles you can use including boats and helicopters and planes. And in the map things are destructable. You can take down buildings and other structures. They are damaged by explosions unlike other FPS. Great game each side has 4 different type of characters with jobs so you choose a character and level them up unlock new guns and parts for your guns and gadgets specific ro your character. And level up with experience. Massively fun and an adrenaline rush.

They said it was a different take and they didn't lie. It's really an outlier from the series and one wonders if they'll take another dip in this direction. Personally, I really enjoyed the single-player campaign/missions but I realize most Battlefield fans want multi-player madness. I'm not going to be able to comment on that because it's just not my thing - at least not with this franchise. This one is heavily police centric and I think most folks that play would enjoy it - but if they're impulse buying because of the franchise name, it might be a bit of a switch.

This is the best single player experience I've had with a Battlefield game. The multiplayer is the best in the Battlefield Franchise since Modern Combat.

Title says it all, it a fun multiplayer game that actually has a pretty good storyline, it also has a few really cool game modes like rescue and heist.

This game is awesome I stayed up all night playing it , it's single person or more game. It's about criminals and cops. I would not allow small children to play it but over 18 is great

Played one other Battlefield game before and traded it in quickly. I'm more of a COD guy but I really like Hardline's multi-player and what I've played of the campaign is a nice twist on a typical one player experience. Would recommend.

I didn't play a lot of multiplayer, but single player was fun. Good cop action with the freeze mechanic being something new. Decent story too.
