Artistic view of past creativity. Contained some of the best actors doing their best and loving it, you can definitely tell. For the time span the sets were remarkable. Humor was also a flying laugh, Just when it kept any sagging from overcoming it. In totality this was a Movie that Every participant enjoyed doing and watching together with you. Rated by me above A or even above E for Excellent FOREVER.

I used Best Buy reward certificates and got a good price on this item. The item arrived promptly and in good condition. Unfortunately, I have not been able to view the DVDs yet.

Can't beat the original! Even though the new series has grown in popularity, this is where the idea started and it really is quite different from the new version. And of course, nobody beats Dirk Benedict as the original 'male' version of Starbuck (Batllestar's answer to Han Solo)! This is definitely a must have for anybody that remembers the original series and wants to reminisce the good ol' days of TV. The other great thing about this set is that it includes the original movie on Disc 1. This will start you on the journey as the rest of the series follows from that story. If you enjoy sci fi and movies from its coming of age era, this set is a must have!

For anyone who loved science fiction before it became all the buzz as it is today, you will love this. The minute you start the first show and watched it every week, you will start to remember everything you loved about the show. It has high tech special effects, not like today of course, but when the show was in production it pulled out all the stops to entertain the audience. Just keep in mind it is an older show and not the like the currect/recent show, however it was the show that brought what you have today.

Add to my recent collection of great tv shows back when I was growing up. Thats when they use to make good tv shows, don't have to worry about my kids watching them. ANd my kids love watching them, can't say the sam these days with all the garbage that is on tv. Anyway, great DVD

The original story of the cylons against the humans. This is before CGI but the models look great even today. They did a lot with a small busget. Pretty funny that they trashed so many of the cylon costumes they had to write them out of the story.

This re-mastered re-release on 10 single sided dvds is excellant. Picture quality is better than the first release of the double sided set issued over 20 years ago, which I purchased from Best Buy. This series in my opinion is better than the updated series version that aired on SyFy channel. I saw this original series on ABC back in the 1970's and liked it then and like it now, which is why I purchased it again.

If you are a fan it is worth having. The characters, writing, and acting are all great.

I recently purchased the series when I saw Best Buy had a decent price on it. Back when the show originally aired I enjoyed watching it and figured that even knowing its going to be a bit dated and hokey by today's standards that it would still be fun to watch. It was pretty much as I remember it and I guess its just a bit of a guilty pleasure. I haven't watched all the episodes so far but I'm glad I picked the set up for a little late 70's fun.

I think this a great box set. It’s always nice to have all the episode and not have to wait. This is a great set. I hope you enjoy.

What a great way to reminisce about the early modern era sic-fi days. I love the original story line and the original cast.

This came out at a great time for me. I had been looking for this for awhile. When I heard it was coming out again in new formats I waited. And so far have been impressed.

Season 4.5 brings the Battlestar Galactica's long journey to an end. Questions will be answered...

This is the Show I know and love it even more now. I grew up with it and its nice to be able to watch anytime and have it on a big screen tv
