I like the characters, the special effects, the story line, and best of all, I got it for a really great price. Bluray would probably been better, in any case, it is an excellent series!!!

I really enjoyed watching this complete series from years past. I enjoy all si-fi /fantasy movies, but tv series like this give you a storyline with more depth. The greater cost is worth the money to enjoy watching it again.

i have the original battlestar with lorne greene along with the second season battlestar 1980. this battlestar is just as good as it"s two predecessor's.

I purchased this series as a gift and it has been well worth it. While stuck at home most of the time, it has been a favorite past time lately.

Battlestar Galactica is a series that keeps you entertained and guessing what's going to happen. Got the complete series during a sale for a great price.

This set is RAD. It has everything, and the show is just as cool the second (and third) time around.

Bought as a gift for my bf for xmas he loves this show and its no longer on netflix so this was a great gift for him.

I'm a huge fan of this series and just recently bought this complete DVD set. I guess I have the newer packaging as all of the discs are in their own plastic sleeves (as they should be!). Note that while this show was filmed in HD it's presented in a more gritty, darker format - this totally fits the drama and darkness of the series. While I bought this set at a sale price (closer to $100) the regular price here is still a good deal as you get an awful lot of material to watch (some 68+ hours of the show - nice!!). I'd buy this set again and fully recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the show. So say we all.

Love the series, but the packaging that this comes in isn't what I expected. Like most Blu-rays, I expected the discs to be packaged in plastic holders. Instead, they are packed in cardboard holders, which isn't a big deal, but that does mean I have to be more careful when handling them. Overall though, it's a good deal, and from what I can tell, it's more complete then the one with the Cylon holder.
