The movie attempts to flesh out the characters and give a deeper explanation to the story. The action sequences are fun, and the final battle is much more impressive in the movie, but the cinemas in the game are more intense visually. It's not something I would go back to watch immediately, but I am happy to have it a part of my anime library.

My husband loves Bayonetta and owns the game as well. When we were at Best Buy we originally planned on getting just Big Hero 6 and he founs this one, he watched the movie and now wants to show his best friend, who also plays the game, the next time they hang out.

I didnt know they made a movie of this. It mostly covers the first game which I didnt get to play. Was a nice film to watch with my boyfriend who had played through them. He said very little was left out or changed and was enjoyable for both of us.

I have not played the games that this is based on, so I missed some of the story elements in the Anime. I still think that this Anime was well done.

This was a fantastic movie that covers the first story introduced by Beyonetta game that was release on the game console. If you love a great anime that had come cheeky dialog and fantastic battle scenes get movie for your collection.

i liked the movie and enjoyed watching it. i would recommend this to anyone who likes anime.

Great Movie!! Played the game and just had to pick up the movie adaptation.

The movie followed the game on a lot of issues but took it's own path on others. All in all a good movie.

This is a fun anime. Especially helpful if you never beat the first game.

Bayonetta comes to home video thanks to funimation. The plot for the movie is close to the video game story but not exactly the same thing. The animation is pretty good but the movie can't touch the game's excitement or bring anything new & interesting to the story. For diehard Bayonetta fans (myself included) this is at best a rental.

The bayonetta games were dripping in style and action. That carries over to the anime here. Check it out if you are a fan.

Bayonetta bloody fate is a great movie to have a better understanding of the video game story. It has great action scenes and its a must buy for Bayonetta fans.

Loved the video game when it first came out, and when I was excited to hear that they made an anime movie out of it, I just had to have it. I hope there is a sequel.

If you liked the first bayonetta. Then you'll like this. This is a anime adaption of the first games story. Very nice. Explains the story better too.

Contains all original Voice Actor and retells the original Bayonetta beautifully. It's not an exact copy of the story but all of the main plots are there.
