This movie is pretty much the game in a movie. Great game but was kind of expecting a seperate story line.

It's a stylized retelling of the first Bayonetta. I thought we would get some new scenes or maybe that the plot would be less convoluted, but that wasn't the case. If you haven't played the game maybe this would be enjoyable. At least I got it for a much better price than other stores.

I was very excited when this title was released. However the story line is very limited. It was like watching an art exhibit, more than an anime movie.

This movie just lacks the charm and pizzazz that the game has. Bayonetta isn't really known for its story anyway. Don't waste your time.

After Bayonetta's introduction to Smash Bros last year, I decided to buy the 2-pack for the Wii U. While the games are a fantastic, bloody affair, the film doesn't quite follow the same story. I expected a complete retelling of the now-classic game series, but got a differently told tale. It covered the main themes and characters, but told the story slightly out of order, sometimes with different scenes completely. Great anime for those who love Bayo and what she does.
