Definitely a collectors item. A bit pricy but do so much fun to have around. Doesn't travel over carpets or bumps too well but can overcome some worth some speed.

This was a gift for my son-in-law. He and their two cats are really enjoying it. It would have been better if it made noise and you could send the pictures to it.

My son had no idea he was going to get this for Christmas. He's a bit of a techie already and had a lot of fun figuring it out. It was easy for him to understand.

My son absolutely loves this toy. It seems very well made, the app is very user friendly, and it was definitely worth every penny. I would highly recommend it.

The whole family enjoys playing with this little guy! Works wonderfully on hardwood floors, not so much on carpet.

Always wanted to try it out and bought on a whim during thanksgiving. Setup was easy on android phone app. Took a bit to get used to controls on phone. Would have liked a controller to be included as well to avoid killing my phones battery. Also does not work the best on carpet or rugs. Overall fun and could be a good star wars collectible

This droid is awesome and super fun to play with. Struggles on carpet at times but on hardwood it moves very nice!

Declared best gift ever. Works great and is played with several times each day.

He is a fun gadget to have but the app sucks the life out of your battery so if you don't have a battery case you won't get much play time. Just an FYI.

I was very excited for this little robot but the commercials, in my opinion, were very misleading. First, all of the fun little sounds don't actually come from BB-8, they come from the device you have the app installed on. So that means if your phone\tablet isn't right near the little guy, the sounds don't really feel like they come from BB. Second, the app, which is central to EVERYTHING this thing does, is slow and over produced. The features are not intuitive and things like the "holographic projections" are nothing more than low quality augmented reality. Now, I knew it didn't actually project holograms but I didn't realize that literally all of the functionality for BB-8 was inside the app. Oh and the automated patrol mode is a joke. The thing rolls around, slamming into walls and furniture until it's head falls off. In the end, you are basically paying for an app. The robot itself is just a gyro that rolls around and uses magnets to keep the head on, nothing more. Fun toy for $50 but definitely not worth $150.

Boys had fun with BB8 over the holidays. After driving him around for awhile they lost interest. Only so many things to do with him. Pretty small also.

Fun little toy to play with - especially for adults (engineers). Cons 1. head pops off frquently - but it goes right back on. 2. Dogs may not like it.

This Sphero BB-8 droid is awesome. Once you get the hang of using the app on your smart phone, it is really easy to control. Great for adults or kids.

Any Star Wars fan will enjoy this toy. It is controlled through the app and is a lot of fun to play with

This was a Christmas present for our 9 year old, he loves it and it is very easy to use with his iPad Mini. As an adult it is also a very cool toy.

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift, she loves it, haven't had any problems with it, works great, I would highly recommend this for anyone

Got this item on sale and it is amazing. As an adult, I'm totally entertained and have a smile on my face. Not difficult to use and easy to pair w iPhone. My 5 yr plays w it w minimal help and can't wait to play w BB-8. Other adults who aren't into Star Wars or have gadgets immediately see how cool this BB-8 Droid is. He really is a droid, not just a toy. Way cool

but just another toy around the house wish it was bigger and that he could actually process information, but a grey toy to enter tai my dogs :-)

I bought this item for my boyfriend. He loved it. The bb8 has personality. Already saying yes and no. It was smaller than I thought it would be.

So I picked up this little guy "just for the fun of it"... and BB-8 is exactly that a bunch of fun in a little sphere. He's a bit smaller than I expected but really easy to play with after a little practice. He is particularly fun to chase my dog around the house with. I'm enjoying him.
