I feel this a good look alike BB8, size is a little smaller than I expected but still good. not recommended for kids easy to break the antennas

Awesome droid. Very fun to play with or just let it explore by itself. Just don't let the dog see it!

Bought this item for my son, 15 yrs. old, for Christmas. This little bot is a big hit in the house and lots of fun to watch and interact with.

This is a great app controlled Star Wars droid. It moves super fast, lights up, and even displays holographic messages via your mobile device.

The BB-8 looks great and feels sturdy. The droid responds well to the phone app controller and it is pretty easy to learn how to drive it.

Cool toy for the star wars fan. It would be cooler if the toy itself made noise instead of the sound effects coming from your smart phone.

I bought BB-8 as a Christmas present for my daughter, who for some reason has never liked Star Wars films. After trying out BB-8, however, she expressed an interest in seeing the "real" droid in the new Star Wars film. She loved BB-8 AND the movie! This little guy has been running around our house, peeking out from around corners, and via the iPhone app, making endearing little clucks, whistles and chortles. It's not inexpensive, but it is well-made and performs as advertised. The whole family has been getting a kick out of it.

For only $20 more than a regular Sphero you can get a Star Wars droid. What more do I need to say! There are bells and whistles in the app, but I don't need them. Simply controlling a droid rolling around my house is enough, and any features that they have added now or will add in the future (after release of the new movie) are simply frosting on the cake.

Does not work well on carpet. Thought it would be larger. Would be nice if it had a video camera.

This thing is soooo cool. Works on hard floors and shorter pile carpeting. Maneuvers great too. the iPhone app is so easy to use too.

This toy is a lot of fun to drive around the house. My only criticism is that I wish the sounds came from the toy instead of the app.

Love this little guy. The only real issue I have is he doesn't work well on the carpet that I have. But that's a very small issue.

thing is awesome... I like how it looks like a ball... with another ball on top.. kinda like a techy snowman, but does so much more

It's a fun toy, very cute. My daughter has fun with it. The price is bit expensive though. And it's kind of difficult to control.

Cool little droid robot. Easy to streer with phone. Thought it would do a little more but haven't spent a lot of time with it yet.

Toy is fun to play with. Because of it's design, the head pops off when you run into things. Sometimes a little hard to control.

I’m a big Star Wars geek and had been eying this for awhile. Picked two up during Black Friday. I’m a teacher and brought them to school. Kids love to play with them at our end of week choice time. They also work with the Sphero Edu coding app so we used them for hour of code... very engaging!

This is easy to use runs on carpet better on floor, but is fun and very entertaining for children and adults! It is so cute too.
