Not only are they NOT noise cancelling, these headphones fell apart when I took them out of the package. I boarded a plane in anticipation of a quiet 10 hour flight, only to find the plugs wouldn't work without playing with them, the bezels fell off, and the logo fell off. When they did work, I could clearly hear the plane noise through the headphones. Needless to say, I had a miserable, noisy flight, had to use the airplane supplied headphones, and developed an instant dislike for anything Beats. I expect a whole lot more out of a $300 set of headphones. Fortunately I was able to return them at the end of my trip.

i generally like the product. i didn't realize that there is no sound without the battery operating the noise cancelling. i would like it to function without the battery but have cancelling when the battery was activated.

Bought these headphones for my 13 yr old son, for his birthday. He uses them daily and absolutely loves them. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay that price, but to see him happy and loving them it was worth it. I have used them to see what the fuss was about and I can agree with him they are the "best".

I originally had the studios and they broke ... So when I decided to upgrade I knew that I was destined to see Betsy .. That's what I call her . I take her to the train, gym , bus home etc. there is a saying " you get what you paid for " I felt that way when I bought these headphones.

While giving up a little in sound quality, it makes up for it in the material quality. I guess if you are going to be spending $ 300 on a pair of headphones, both is too much to ask. But over all they are still worth it.

Great product, a little pricey, but compared to some other brands I believe the quality and construction is above all the rest.

I found the sound quality of other brand and models are much more better than this one. But this is popular and well designed.

Excellent Father's Day gift for myself... Never thought that I'd pay so much for a pair of headphones.., but they are definitely worth the extra money.

This is the second set of Beats purchased for my family. Bought one for my daughter for Christmas and liked them so much I bought one for myself.

People should buy it for the sound quality and not depend on it being a noise cancellation headphone.

These by far are the best sound I have received from over the ear headphones. The company has done a complete 180 in sound quality terms and this pair is phenomenal.
