The Beats Flex are a budget set of headphones where if sound quality isn't a important factor to user enjoyment. The battery life is great, I used to have a pair of Sony equivalents and noticed a longer useable timeframe. The only drawback is if you like audio quality and it's not something you're willing to sacrifice these are not the headphones for you. The lack of a built in equalizer makes them extremely difficult to listen to music with, especially if the highs, mids and lows are an excitable part of the music listening experience. In terms of generic videos other audio sources, they are simply okay.

I bought these for the W1 chip so I could use while I work out with my iPhone or iPad as I switch back and forth for particular workouts. I didn’t want to spend $200 bucks for the Beats Pro or AirPods. I got these in a price match for $35. Glad I didn’t pay full price. The sound is nowhere near as loud as the others. I was very disappointed. For context I am hearing impaired. I have used other ear buds and usually have to put them near around 80-90 percent volume to hear some podcasts comfortably. I put these Beats at full blast and could barely make out those podcasts I listen to. Not loud at all. I gave up on the podcasts. The neck loop is more rigid than I prefer as its a harder plastic that keeps it form. I have a big neck (19.5”) and the loop was snug enough it was just a bit uncomfortable while running.
Overall not what I was expecting and still considering returning since I can’t really use them for the intended purpose I bought them for.
