Got the refurbished pair from best buy and they work just like the ones I got from apples website. Had them a few weeks now using them non stop and they show no signs of wear, work perfectly, charge quickly and haven't had one issue. Wish the base was as good as powerbeats2 but for the price, you can't beat them.

The BeatsX is a comfortable, lightweight, water-resistant, neckband-style Bluetooth headphone with a secure in-ear fit and good sound quality. It pairs instantly with Apple devices, rolls up to fit in an included carrying case, and charges quickly via Lightning, not MicroUSB.

Sound quality is good if pushed all the way into ear canal - if not, they sound a bit tinny. Overall, fit is decent and they stay in the ear well once you find the best inserts for your ears. The cord is a bit long and awkward as it never seems to be perfectly straight when it comes out of the case. Not sure why they made the case so small - have to wrap the headphones tight to get them to fit. Simple to connect to phone and battery life is great.

After thorough research and as per my preferences, I decided to purchase this pair. I took the refurbished one as it was affordable. I really liked the design and the way it sits on your neck. The cable stays straight and does not tangle. So, if you are a commuter and need a comfortable wireless pair and are not really bothered with sound quality then this is the one. I got disappointed with the sound quality because it has a lot of bass which ruins all the rhythm and softness of a song. If you only listen to hip hop and rap stuff, this should sound great to you. But if you are a soft listener (like me), you will not like the sound quality. Moreover, beats audio should introduce an app like jaybird where you can tweak the settings and get the desired result. Unfortunately, there are no pairs in the market with such comfort and great sound quality so I have to trade off sound for comfort. I thought of returning it and get a jaybird x3 but after getting reviews, I came to a conclusion that jaybird x3 is specifically focused on active use. It does sound good (I mean really good!) but it is not as comfortable if you want to use it while traveling on a bus, train or just taking a walk. And as far as performance is concerned of a refurbished product, it is working fine up till now. Connectivity is great. Though, I am an android user but haven't experienced any problem yet. But it doesn't connect to two devices simultaneously so I have to connect it every time when I switch from my cellphone to laptop. One more thing, I really like the magnet tips so you can just stick them together and form a beats necklace when you are not using them so it remains safe and you don't have to worry about losing it. These are nice ear buds, they are canted so they fit your ears just right. I do not like the original boots that came it the set. They allow to much air where the sound is too low when turned all the way up. The overall volume seems a little weak. They get loud but there is a notable difference between others ive used. The cord is also slightly long and tends to bunch up in your face. With that being said, for the price being refurbished and reputation of being manufactured by Beats...they aren't bad, but don't expect world class out of these.

I actually own 2 pairs of Beats headphones: The Studio Wireless and these (the BeatsX). Both have served me pretty well. When I don't want something too bulky for working out or to use at work, I actually like to use the wireless BeatsX ear buds. They sound great and they last a long time on one charge. The product does what it says and charges a good amount in about 15 minutes or so. Only drawback was the length of the charging cable. It could be longer, although I could also use my lightning cable for my iPhone.

Was very skeptical at first about purchasing refurbished product, but this was a great deal and the ear buds are practically new! They came with all the accessories of a new product (earbud tips 3 pair), charger cable, ear wing tips. The battery life so far is very good and the sound is full and clear, not all that heavy in bass. I've had many ear buds and these are by far the most comfortable. Wasn't sure about using the wing tips but they help keep the buds seated properly. Overall great purchase and product.

Bought these online and was excited to use them. I spend a lot of time on the phone and really liked that I could hide it under my shirt when not using it. The earbuds were comfortable and the sound was good. But the battery life was spec’d at 8 hours during user and I was getting maybe 3 hours before needing to recharge. I assume this is an issue with the refurb certification that doesn’t exist with a new pair of headphones. I was disappointed that the only option was to return them and either wait for a replacement refurb to arrive or pay for a new pair and them return them when the refurb arrived. I was disappointed that as a Best Buy Elite Rewards member who purchased a Geek Squad certified Product that I was not able to hold on to the existing pair and then return the defective pair in a prepraid envelop when the replacement arrived. That would have been much more convenient for me.

I bought this instead of Airpods because it has the inline controls and people said they sounded better. I'm surprised by how much I really like them. The whole neck cord thing was weird at first, but everything is so light you don't even notice it. The swappable eartips were helpful because the pair that were installed just didn't sound that great, but when I switched to the tighter ones everything sounded amazing. The wires going from your neck to your ears could have been shorter for sure and is the only con about these, but you get used to it. The battery lasts quite a while (the quick charge feature is great), the fit is right and having the controls (even Siri) available make these the best pair of in-ear headphones I've ever bought.

I’m growing to like this headset. I had a pair or wired Beats earbuds that I absolutely loved but they died. I bought these to replace them and was a little disappointed but they’ve grown on me. The older earbuds fit straight in the ear canal, these new ones go straight in but the bud body angles slightly. I like the magnet backs to keep around my neck. I’m not too fond of a wire still if it’s “wireless” but it isn’t too bad. My wired earbuds had a LOT more bass than these wireless earbuds. I will say this is my primary disappointment! I listen to a wide variety of music but the tones don’t sound as complete since the bass contributions are lower. The charge holds for a long time and there is an audible alert when the battery is low. Pairs like any other Bluetooth device without issue. I’ve connected this to my 2 phones and iPads without issue.

i think my title speaks for itself. i, like an idiot, lost these headphones by dropping them on the ground. i spent the money to re-purchase them immediately after. if that isn't a testimonial, i don't know what is. yes, these headphones are costly, but they're worth it. i ride public transportation every day and its very loud, very crowded, and always busy. these headphones pretty much cancel out every sound in the universe. the battery lasts a pretty good amount of time. i ride the train for 1.5 hours daily and these last for me for days on end without being charged. initially i was under the impression that these headphones really wouldn't be good; i think it was all the celebrity hype and them being expensive. but i really can't live without them now. i loooove these headphones and will continue to purchase beats!

Could be louder. The sound is great and it reproduces the frequencies of different generes of music well. I would like just a little more bass and volume . The refurbished one s didn't come with the original packaging and accessories the accessories seemed like aftermarket fill ins. However the price does out way that

What counts in a wireless design: good wearability, solid construction and decent battery life - factory refurbished to specs, old drawback is a lack of BASIC "getting-started" documentation, at least in my box. Sound is good - even though too little bass - for my for my taste anyway

Very great sound. And for refurbished you get everything like they were brand new. I’ve had them for months now and haven’t had a single problem. Last a very long time and great comfort in ears. Love the magnetic clasp

I have difficulty in general finding earbud designs that will stay secure in my ears AND be comfortable at the same time. With the growing trend to wireless sets from the traditional wired designs, I didn't want to do an extensive search for a set to use during working hours and a different set to use while exercising. Enter the BeatsX. I realize these have been out for quite some time but I have a tendency to arrive fashionably late to parties anyway. I found a Geek Squad refurbished deal, and thought it was worth a try. Pairing with my iPhone 6S+ was a breeze (my first experience with the W1 concept) and within a couple of days I'd already had several calls under my belt for work related purposes. I prefaced each call with a request that if anything sounded "off" on the other end, to please let me know. No one ever did. I also finally dabbled in listening to some music and audio books, and the sound was pristine to me on those as well. I especially love the buds being magnetized so that when I'm not using them, I can easily connect them and tuck them under my shirt so they're out of the way. Charging via Lightning cable rounds out the convenience of these. I'm not a huge audiophile these days like I was in my younger years, but I definitely love the sound on this set for phone calls, music and audio books. Battery life seems to be about what's promised as well.

Absolutely love these Beats! wear them nearly everyday, great sound & isolation. Super lightweight, hardly know I'm wearing them. Battery life could be better, but with lightning connection, get a good 2hr recharge in about 5 mins, so pretty easy to work with. The app is a nice addition, but I hardly bother with it myself, great sound out of the box

my beats X is very light, no background sounds. the battery duration is phenomenal. I could go 6 to 8 hrs without charging and because of that feature i would purchase this item again

I absolutely love these headphones. I use them to work out. They stay in place; they’re not distracting, and they’re really comfortable. The battery life is also great, and the fact that it’s the Apple charger it’s even more awesome because I don’t have to carry around an extra chord. I really liked the extra earbuds that came with it. Don’t even get me started on sound qualitly!

It’s my 2nd pair, my first ones I paid full price and battery died one month after the 1 year factory warranty so apple offered to fix for $90 bucks no thx, so I purchased these for 60 refurbished with no worries about lasting only a year, as for quality there great because I drive commercial trucks so need hands free and I unload products so they don’t interfere and have great sound and comfort plus the battery last 8-10 if you listen to music or talk radio and about 6 if you talk to someone but they recharge in 10 minutes and give back like 3-4 hours more... so overall great.
