Headphones work great and the quality and practicality of them is the best I've had. Just for protection I purchased them with a credit card that adds an additional year to the manufacturing warranty just in case

Broke twice in 10 months.

I very lightly used these headphones, and they broke twice in 10 months. After a few months they randomly would not power on. Apple sent a replacement. A few months later, the second BeatsX suffered the same fate. This time, Apple refused to replace. More specifically, they claimed the casing was damaged (untrue), and could not honor the warranty. I stayed on the phone with a not-very-understanding customer service rep named Jay for over an hour, and left feeling exasperated. I will avoid Beats products in the future.
