Worked for about a week before the left speaker quit working

Not the best quality. Voice calls are muffled. Sounds distorted

Right ear phone was doa. Tried a couple of times didn't work

These are just junk. Uncomfortable and sound terrible.

Had to take them into the store and brand new ones.

I have only had these about four days but so far they have been great. Great sound quality and the earbuds fit really good. I deducted a star because I think it was missing a set of earbuds (according to the diagram in the package but not totally sure). I only paid $65.00 which is a very good deal compared to what a new set cost. So I recommend going refurbish if you are on a budget.

I normally like Bestbuy Certified Refurbished headphones, I have happily bought several and they all look and feel like new. These headphones however are a disappointment, even at the nice discounted price they weren't worth the cost, Can't imagine buying them at full retail!. The Sound Quality just isn't very good, they are frankly a disappointment, they sound muffled and tinny the bass? what bass? The sound quality compares to $20 dollar headphones in my opinion. While they fit nicely in my ears, the band leaves much to be desired, they are bulky and featureless. W1 chip might be useful for iPhone users, I'm an android user, so the W1 chip provides 0 benefit to me. Buy it if you want nice looks, and a brand name but only mediocre sound quality...

I misplaced my cheap JVC Gumy and saw these on sale for $80 including tax. Bottomline, they are good once you make some changes and know how to workaround some of the issues. I made the following changes: 1) changed the earbud tips to one that was more comfortable and that let ambient sound in. 2) adjusted the Music / Spotify Equalizer. Unfortunately Pandora doesn't have an equalizer function. 3) When running / walking / biking make sure sure that the cord is not hanging freely. 4) 8 hours battery is stretch. Maybe with the volume at 20% Regarding the volume not high enough. I have seen this done to save battery power. The higher the volume the more power is consumed. I have a Sony Bluetooth speaker that lowers the power / volume when battery is used. This is similar to cars where higher speed requires more fuel. My verdict, even though my cheap JVC volume goes higher the sound of the BeatsX is better. It is more refined / defined. Are the BeatsX worth $150+tax, I don't think so but for the $80 I paid, I will keep them. For $150, I would go with the Bose SoundSport which I have not tried. However, I don't like how big the Bose earbuds look and hope they come out with a new one with a smaller earbud.

I bought beats x refurbished and they stopped working after a month. don't waste your money on these

I use these mostly for phone calls and sound late at night. Got a set of Skull Candy brand a few weeks back. Junk. Hated em. Sounded like people were talking into a tin can. So I took em back and ordered these refurbished Beats. And WOW!! What a difference!! Even considering it's only 20 bucks more than junk Skill Candy. The beats are comfortable to wear around your neck all day with the magnetic speakers. Connection seems pretty strong. Works from about 50 feet away so far. I can't really think of any cons.

I was originally looking to buy apple airpods since I wanted wireless earbuds but I thought the price tag of $160 was not worth it. After doing some scrolling around the bestbuy website I came across these beatx refurbished for around $55. At first I was skeptical about buying a refurbished product and thought I might as well buy the new ones for $75. After reading further into the reviews I found that refurbished shouldn't be an issue so I went ahead and gave these an order. They came in 4 days earlier than expected which is absolutely great. Everything was in the box and packaging was in good condition. I gave them a quick charge and immediately went in for a listen for the sound quality. I was surprised from the sound quality with the price I paid. These are definitely worth way more than $55 for the product given. These aren't like normal beats product being super bass heavy which is great. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase and for the excellent price.

Didn't expect a refurbished headphone to be this good. It is as new as it can be. The only thing I missed was the Beats packaging. Absolutely love the sound quality and comfort. Pairing with W1 was a breeze.

I saw a few YouTube video reviews before buying and read reviews here. Anyone complaining about sound quality must be on an iPhone or not know how to access equalizer in Android. They have BASS and beats just like advertised. On Android all you need is to turn on EQ on your music player and you're good. Buying second pair for wife now.

Great wireless earphones with long battery life. Good audio quality

The sound quality is not bad, but nothing spectacular either. Volume is not very loud. And the battery life is just average. My wife bought a cheap pair of wireless headphones that work just as well for a third of the price. Her sound as good too.

Bought the certified refurbished, and notice one of the earbud speaker has an intermittant distortion in the sound. I'm assuming a previous owner returned them probably because of this, and geeksquad or whoever "certified" them as refurbished didn't bother listening to them. So very disappointing. I ended up buying the same BeatsX new, instead of refurbished and have zero problem. The BeatsX are great, you just have to take a risk buying refurbished. I've had success with refurbish in the past, but got burned with these headphones.

great sound isolation and good sound but for a 'Geek Squad Certified' item I think it should have included a simple instruction sheet. No idea about battery life since I just received.

Mine came missing the medium ear tips, the size that fit most people including myself. By default they are supposed to come with the medium dome tips installed and then come with small, large and flanged tips in the packaging. But mine came with the flange tips installed and the small, large and flange in the packaging. Their attention to detail is obviously lacking when they inspect the refurbs. The one pair of ear tips I needed was not included. Really disappointed, first and last time I will trust Best Buy refurb.
