i purchased the beats studio and returned them to much bass for my likeing, got the solo hd's and weren't even close to studio so i returned them for the beats mixr, these are what i have been looking for a perfect in between from the solo and studios love the size of them not to big and bulky like the studio's and the best part no batteries.

I had all the studios in different colors and never thought on changing , never like the oversized Pros or cheap looking solos but this ones looks awesome and sound quality was a lot better than what i was expecting , they are very comfortable on the neck , not too big not too small ... Highly recomended ... Good Job Monster

Great product use daily. They are very durable, great sound, comfortable. The carrying case and and cords are great. Kind of high but these have the same sound as pros and look better! Highly recommend

I love these headphones. I use them everyday and absolutely love the sound quality from them. I havn't ever compared them to other brands of headphones that go on your ear, but i can't imagine something else would be better. They are a bit pricy, and are pretty tight on the ears, but the tightness turns out to help if you ever twist either side of the phones. Its debatable wether they are worth the price, but so far I absolutely love them and love the look of the white ones! I would and have reccommended these to friends. After reading tons of reviews I almost didnt buy any of the Beat by Dr. Dre headphones, but decided to try it out and dont regret it at all. Enjoy!

    Stylish Not Great

First of all I've never owned or possibly even seen a better looking set of headphones. The design of these Beats Mixr's is phenomenal. The ear-cups have that "fresh leather" smell and the quality of the materials used is unrivaled. The design is just as brilliant. Dual inputs allow you to "daisy chain" to another headset or connect to a computer/ whatever while also being connected to your phone. It's very difficult to hear yourself talk on the phone due to the noise cancelation of the ear-cups but you can flip up each side independently to make amends. That's a "studio" quality feature and I found it helpful for taking calls. What's not to like? These lock on vise like on your head, I can feel the tension in my jaw. Maybe they break in eventually but way too tight to wear for an extended period. The bass is overwhelming and while they are loud they lack the tonal range of a Bose headset for example. Exceptionally well built but not what I was looking for (home studio recording plus iPhone/ everyday use). The 1/8 to 1/4 adapter is a bonus over what Bose offers BTW if you record through a Line6 guitar processor . I ended up ordering a set of AKG headphones exclusively for my studio project. Really wish these did it all, So much to like about them! Bottom line: too tight and not enough range in the speakers but otherwise perfect.

These headphones are really sick. Great sound, and they're durable. I like the matte finish as well. They're a little tight on the ears, but other than that they're great. Perfect size compared to the solos/studios, and less sound leakage then other beats as well. Great product and a not so bad price.

I was so undecided about Beats products due to the price. However,I'm very happy I bought these as an early birthday gift to myself!Right out of the box,I noticed how light this product was,and how solid it felt in my hands.I have a huge head and not only are these able to accommodate my massive noggin but they're durable enough for me to manipulate them to conform to my head with the use one hand,(since i only have one). What I love about these headphones is that there is not flimsy plastic that the solos have but has a durable feel of pros,or studios.Only gripe is that it's a little snug cause of my big head.Otherwise this product has it all you want from a $300 pair of headphones!I love black-tie protection too!

I love these headphones. The only con I have is that the right side where it has the letter "R" on the chord, the chord isn't sticking anymore. It's very annoying pushing it back in. But other than that the headphones are excellent. thumbs up. 5 stars.

I use these headphones for my commute to/from work and while at work. I've had them for about a week now and feel ready to review. After using them off and on for 10 hours a day, I must say they hurt my ears a little. I typical have to readjust them at least three times a day. Some people haven't mentioned it, so I assume it might be my ear design. The sound is unrivaled by any headphones on the market, at the same price range. I use them the majority of the time on my HTC Sensation 4G and while at home on my Laptop. If you really enjoy hearing crisp highs and excellent lows in music, these are for you. On a side note, I also use them to watch Netflix while on the go.

I just bought these, primarily for dj ing. I can say the sound is awesome. Clear highs, and normal mids, with just a tad of bass thats not to overpowering. Everyone has been saying these are uncomfortable. I have to say they are a tight fit, but I will put them on something for a few nights and see if it will make um a bit looser. Other than that, Im happy so far. If I were you I would buy the extended warranty. Of course bestbuy wants to hear that but, these headphones may not be the strongest heaphones out there so just to be safe.

Great sounding headphones period. When you factor in the price compared to some of the really high end sets this is a great buy. From a DJ perspective, these are very serviceable phones with strong sound and the rotating ear cuffs are much nicer than the old days of just pulling one cup back. From a listening for fun perspective, this set runs out of horsepower a little with respect to highs and separating individual instruments. That is really nit picky and more on the "audiophile" level but classical music lovers and music majors might want to compare before purchase. in all, this is my 4th pair of Beats (Tour, Power, Pro as well) so I'm a big fan.

Overall, I love these headphones. They have great style, excellent sound quality, and very durable. The only thing is that they are a little tight on your head in the beginning, but will loosen up after wearing maybe 2 weeks or so. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

    Mixed feelings on the Mixr's

I had the pros. They got stolen at work. So I waited a few months for these to come out. I didn't want noise cancellation headphones again (they made me feel sick). So I was excited to get these. Love the style. The sound is crisper than the pros. Better in those categories. The cups are the size of average ears. Your ear won't fully be inside of them, but it holds in the sound well. Not much leakage. I like them overall. Happy about the purchase. Like them more than the pros. *** HOWEVER *** , unless you are a 4 year old with a tiny head, you will HAVE to stretch these things out. They are TIGHT! I could only wear them for about 10 minutes. But all night long I have them stretched around the box they came in. Day by day they get a little looser and better feeling around the 'ol cranium. It will take a good week to stretch these out though. The materials are great, but the sliding mechanism is very wishy washy. My right side clicks into each notch very well, while the the left one slides freely. You need the notch clicks so you can set each ear cup to the same length. It's a flaw in the craftsmanship I believe. it's because of these two issues that I only gave the product 3/5 stars. Build a wider pair you don't have to stretch, and design a much more functional sliding mechanism and I'd give these a 4.5/5. Beats in general aren't the top sounding headphones, so I'll never give them a 5.

Second pair of headset this week. Sound is great and very light wieght. Only problem with this style is that swivel/slider are very poorly designed. One day after use, slider does not stay in place. Keeps slidng down when not in use. Swivel is also weak. Easily turned when adjusting headband.
