After having two other pair of beats battery fail after two years, ear pieces fall off and cant but OEM and the part that holds it over the ear falling off really did not want to go with another pair of beats. But at a sale price of 99 they are maybe a slight upgrade over other brands. Right off there are things I prefer about the Power beat 3 but might just be my preference. I liked the longer more flexible flat cable connecting them. This is thick and right up on your neck. Also, these seem cheaper and almost like a toy. Also, do not block out outside sound too well and sound quality not that great. I remember when I bought my first pair of powerbeats I was blown away but these seem like a step back. If these fall apart again within the first couple of years I will not be buying another pair of Beats.
