    All 4 of my children have beats, all love them. My 15 year old daughter finally wore hers out and I bought her the new Solo 2's for her birthday. She FELL IN LOVE. The last pair she had were even one level better, requiring a battery for noise cancellation. This pair does not have that perk (too $) and she is happier with this pair. Lighter, (even lighter than the original Solo model), sleeker looking and no worries about dead batteries at inopportune moments. Although they are one of the cheaper models, she prefers them for their sound, the fold away capability and battery free freedom-- now if only the blue tooth option would come down in price!

    good product. happy with sound quality. I am not happy with Best Buy's return policy. It turns out that Best Buy has a miserable 15 day return policy. That's how much they stand behind their products-- 15 days... then you are on your own. Moving forward, will be getting products someplace else where if you need to return something you don't feel trapped.

    I've been happy with these so far. The brand gets criticism from audiophiles for having less than perfect sound quality but I have listened to them side by side with similarly priced Bose headphones and they didn't sound inferior. They are comfortable to wear for hours and despite not having noise cancelling technology they do block out most ambient noise.

    I bought these headphones for my daughter. The sound was good, but the Bose had an equally good sound for a cheaper price. However the name "Beats" is very popular among the kids, so she wanted that brand. For a consumer that is not so tied to a name, try the Bose headphones instead.
