Yeah, if you know you know, if you don't you should. This here master-p still influences filmmakers to this day. Little bit of fairytale magic, little bit of technical wizardy, and boom, there you go.

This is a wonderful film!!! Black & White adds great dimension and the special effects are the best of it's time (1946) Do not be put off by the subtitles.
