Classic Movie cant go wrong with this Disney movie

It was the best movie I love beauty and the beast.

My 4-year-old daughter recently discovered Belle and wants anything Belle now. Of course I had to get her this DVD. She is going to love it!

I love beauty and the beast it's one of my favorite Disney princess movies. And I just had to have this one to add to my Disney Signature collection

Continuing with Disney's recent restorations/treatment of their animated classics, Beauty and the Beast features a terrific 4K version in an understated, classy steelbook presentation. This isn't a flashy case, but has an adult feel that fits a collector sensibility (buy this more for yourself than your kids). Given that the animated classics have been re-released many times, if you're looking to upgrade to 4K, the steelbook is the obvious choice both as a nice shelf piece and as a more collectable version for the future. This version also fixes some of the color grading issues that were present in earlier Blu-Ray releases (such as Belle's hair looking more red than it should be); in terms of comparison with past home-video releases, it is the closest to the old LaserDisc release in terms of visual fidelity to the original theatrical version, but with all the cleanup and visual improvement than HDR allows. Other than the 3D Blu-Ray release (which is a good alternative if watched in 3D; less so if watched in 2D where color grading is also an issue), this new 4K is the best version that's been available on physical media in the past 20 years.

This is the classic Beauty and the Beast that started it all, It has all the elements Disney is known for in it's stories. Definitely a classic.

As our grandchildren are now getting to movie watching age, Thai was a must buy. Love the different options to view, blu ray or digitally.

I’m glad Disney is coming out with the classics on Blu Ray, my fiancé and I are trying to purchase them all when they come out on Blu Ray or 4K

I'm sure everyone knows how great of a movie this original version of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is. I'd just like to give proper fanfare to the 4K conversion of the film. The HDR punches up the vibrance and contrast of the film like never before. As for the resolution, the backgrounds look like real paintings now where you can make out the brushstrokes. I've watched this movie close to a hundred times and have never noticed brushstrokes. It actually makes me appreciate it more as a work of art even more now. Also, if your TV setup support Dolby Vision, the 4K Digital Copy provides a Dolby Vision option not available on the disc. As for the Steelbook, although it may seem plain in images, it is absolutely beautiful in hand. The striking imagery on both front and back are enhanced by nice debossing and metallic effects. And the inner inlay image is classic. It has a real "adult" sensibility to its design. You will enjoy this set inside and out.

This movie is a timeless classic! Was very happy to purchase this movie combo pack with the digital copy.
