Have been wanting to hear some of the selections before purchasing this CD. Purchased the CD/DVD combo pack. CD has been in my car for the past couple of weeks. Thoroughly enjoy the music of James Taylor. Nice to hear lyrics with complete thoughts...not just a hook and a beat. I prefer singer, songwriters...so these new tunes were right up my alley!

James Taylor starts by saying that this may be his last writing attempt... Good insight on how and why the songs were written The story ends by him saying to the effect of "never say never"! Looking forward to many more tunes from this guy.

If you enjoy the mellow sounds of guitar and the smooth sounds of James Taylor, THIS is the Best Album to listen to. I love to listen to the album in my car and sing-a-long. The DVD is very revealing into the songwriters world. Extremely informative and insightful. A MUST see.

This simply expands the beauty of James Taylor style and music you've loved for four decades. The lyrics and tones are purely JT as you've always known and loved him. Highly recommended.

This album shows that James Taylor still possesses among the best songwriting skills of anyone alive. I have long been a big fan and have enjoyed his recent covers albums, which are great, but this is a nice return to his own original work.

We waited over a decade for new favorites from JT and as always, he didn't disappoint. Every song on this album is terrific. So glad to see he finally got a #1 album. It should have happened many times before. JT is absolutely the best,

The Music is classic JT, but the enclosed DVD shows his home studio and the creation and interaction with the musicians and vocal accompaniment friends he has known and collaborated with for years.

As a James Taylor fan, here is another wonderful collection of songs from the tremendous singer/songwriter. Even as he ages, his voice continues to stay strong and vibrant.

James Taylor's new CD after many years is classic James Taylor. Some songs are clearly new, others have a familiar sound with new words. Production is very good quality.

This is a great CD which is more like the James Taylor many of us first heard in the 70s! He's still Sweet Baby James! I'd love to see him live again.

Before this World is a great new James Taylor CD- his first new work in a few years. Give a chance and I think you'll like it too.

Gave as a gift, but great for what you pay. I cannot deliver a long term analysis as it was a gift for someone else.
