Great product for any small laptop that takes less than 60W of power. The port placement is well designed, and build quality is top of the line. Giving it 4/5 stars because of its price compared to other competitors and the fact that it was sold to me when I bought my MacBook Pro but it's not capable of charging it. Ended up exchanging it for an Insignia hub that is able to take the 87W of the MBP.

Helpful for usb jump drives, but wouldn’t read my usb disc reader/cd drive. I had to buy a different one to get it to read my discs. It’s also stupid expensive and you can buy way cheaper online that reads the disc drive but it’s good in a pinch (like when your computer crashes during finals and you need something to read your jump drives RIGHT NOW).

I purchased the Belkin 4-port USB Type-C Hub to replace a cheaper Satechi 2-port USB hub. The issue the caused the replacement (and one I hadn't known about prior) was that all USB hubs are not equal. Some USB-C hubs aren't capable of passing the full charging voltage from the power supply, so although the MBP was plugged in to the power supply thru the smaller hub, I was only getting about 4 hours of heavy use before the battery would be completely drained while plugged in. Also, the smaller hub was creating a temperature issue (heat) that would cause the MBP's fans to kick on at high speed, further complicating the power drain issue. Replacing the smaller hub with this Belkin has corrected both the power pass-thru issue, AND the temperature issue. The SD reader is also a huge benefit.

This seems fine. Just wish it had more regular USB ports. Currently I’m using the hub for a wireless mouse and another port for my external Keyboard (an older one). If I had 1 more port, I could also plug my printer into it (a non wireless one). Therefore, if I wanted to take my laptop elsewhere, all I would have to do is unplug the hub.

I can use this with my iPad Pro, Surface Go or MacBook Air. Works wel with all devices; all ports work. I had purchased a dud from the big online A store and so I wanted to buy one that I could just go to the store and return if I had issues. I’ve had absolutely no issues with this one.

This is a great adapter. I needed something functional and small, and this does the job and more. I’m going to get another one and gift it, it’s a great price too. It connects to all of the random cords I have. This is a great product.

Very well built solid quality product. Originally bought the same item from a different brand that I returned as it was Carnival prize quality. The Bellini can’t even be compared to the J5 it is so superior. HDMI signal going out to projector is very clear.

Glad to have a an adapter that meets the need for my MacBook Pro. Not sure why there are less port but this was an item I purchase and it handles my portable hard drive, mouse and speaker. I love the fact that it has a adapter so I can hardwire my device as well.

Bought to use with a new Macbook Pro 16 . Allows an HDMI monitor extension . SD Memory card , 2 USB 3.0 connections, ethernet connection . Hub allows use of three other Thunderbolt 3 ( USB C ) connections to the Mac. Allows sufficient connections for the price .

This was our hased to accompany my new MacBook pro. I primarily use my MacBook for editing photos, which I keep on an external harddrive. I needed a way to be able to use a DVD read/write device and to use the harddrive, and this fit the bill perfectly.

The belkin brand is generally durable and offers high quality products. I keep my hub in my backpack so I have it where ever I go, and my bag does get roughed up a bit throughout the day. I know there are cheaper options, but I would prefer to splurge on a more reputable brand.

Needed this for my External Hard drive with me switching over to the 16 in. MacBook Pro. I was able to transfer all my music & also been able to use the Ethernet port to make sure I’m downloading items as fast as possible! Missing 1 GB speeds is not an issue!

Something like this is essential for dealing with the alarming lack of ports on the M1 Mac laptops. the ethernet port works well and the hub can be used inline with the laptop's power adapter to leave 1 thunderbolt port free on the machine itself.

Helps connect lots of my legacy peripherals (mouse, keyboard, HDMI monitor and ethernet) to new Macbook Air M1. Also delivers power. No issues. Don't even notice the temp issues others mentioned and I've used for hours at a time so far.

Great value and sturdy design. Previously tried a couple of other options and brands, but this was the most consistent. Plenty of port options and makes connecting peripherals on newer devices with USB-C only more accessible.

Just what I needed to transfer SD card info to my Yoga laptop for photos and video of my little one. In addition, this worked with my connecting to my treadmill as well to stream Netflix to monitor through HDMI port

This is a high quality portable dock. You can get a cheaper one, but I’ve found that those have ports that can fail within a few months. This dock even feels high quality and has every kind of port you would need.

The adapter is super helpful - I just bought a new macbook air so I could work remotely and in order to use my preferred keyboard and mouse for my 8-hour workdays, I really needed two USB ports and a ethernet adapter was just another bonus! Would definitely recommend.

I had a cheap amazon one that had all the same ports. That one was slow and was always burning. So I did research and found out my best option is to have a thousand apple dongles until I found this bad boy! Great product!

what would I do without this device after buying a MacBook Pro 2019.. no USB ports in it so of course this is a life savior totally recommend but might not work with a cover for laptop if cover extends too much
