simple solution to watch whats on your computer screen on a TV. I hook my MacBook Air up to my receiver via the HDMI port. Works perfectly.

I never know what to buy with regard to electronics and accessories. This item worked fine.

I recently updated to a new MacBook Pro and added a DisplayLink dock to expand my USB ports and support the two monitors that I had been using with the previous MacBook Pro. I had been using a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable and a USB to HDMI cable. Turns out the DisplayLink hub does not support clamshell mode, and will not play HDCP video. A quick trip into town and back with this cable. Literals just plug in and go.

I used to use a VGA cable that went from my computer to my tv and then also had to connect a double female headphone cable to get the volume to transfer. I thought this product would transfer both the video and audio to the TV since it is an HDMI connection but it's still only the video.... It works well but doesn't do what I expected it to do.

Great piece of equipment. It transfers audio/video (AV) from my computer right to my TV. Just as advertised. 10/10 would buy again. 45 bucks though? Ehhhhhhhh maybe a little steep for a tiny little wire.

Exactly what I needed to hook my new MacBook to an external display with great quality! I definitely think using the mini display cable give better quality on the MacBook than using just an hdmi cable.
