After getting nailed by a few viruses that managed to slip by various programs over the years I decided to start using remote hard drives but unplugging them after each save was wearing out the receptacles on my computer. The easy solution was the Belkin - 7-port USB Hub which gives me many more conveniently located receptacles that are easily replaceable if and when they wear out.

I needed extra ports. This is small enough to fit in the area I have. It works like I thought it would.

This hub has enough ports for my needs. Has a small foot print.

Was sick of having of having to switch out phone charger, mouse charger, game controller on the 2nd USB port on the front of my PC. With this now plugged in there's more than enough USB plugs for everything I need and the wire is long enough to let it sit up on the desk within easy reach. If you wish you had more USB slots, take a look at this handy little device.

This 7-port charger works very well. I use it to charge 7 Playstation 3 3D glasses at the same time so that the equipment is always ready for movie night. I have only used the charger plugged to the wall outlet and it works great. It also comes with an UBS cable to use other devices (e.g. Laptop) as power sources but I have never used it in that fashion.

I've tried various hubs and needed to move up to more ports and better reliability for access. Even with power cord, it's very portable. In the past, any Belkin products I've used have proved very satisfactory.

Bought this as part of a docking station setup for my supervisor. I needed a low profile, powered hub so I didn't have to worry about loading down the laptop that was connecting to this. This hub fits the bill perfectly and performs excellently. I am very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this.

Really happy with this thing, but Amazon has it WAY cheaper, so make sure you get BB to price match. No sense in over-spending on old USB 2.0 tech when you can get a USB 3.0 hub for the same price these days. My older iMac only has USB 2.0, so this was all I needed. It tucks into the little cubby in my desk perfectly and works just like it should.

This is a great USB hub! It works great, its small and slim and it is easy to use. The one thing I wish was different, was that it has longer cords. But other then that it is a great product.

I got this usb 7-hub port to expand the limited numbers on my PC laptop and Macbook Pro. I found the charging of portable devices to be slow using this hub. The file transfers are fine. This 7-hub port comes with a short cord. I will try this on the PS4 to see if I can use it for Rock Band 4's local multiplayer's instruments.

This is a consistent powered USB hub for business or home use. It's no frills and does what the box says it does. Recommended for home or business use. We run Point otf Sale system peripherals with it and it runs well.

With seven ports this is definitely more than enough to upgrade your USB input options. Plus the ac adapter, eliminates any power issues I can use this with my flash drives hard drives and numerous other devices without having to worry about how are being distributed to any of my USB devices. I had no issues with it whatsoever.

My 3.0 USB ports are up in front of my computer & my presonus studio instructions tells me not to plug my interface into a USB 3.0 port. So, without this I'm constantly plugging in the back (which are where my 2.0 USB ports are) & it's a real pain in the neck (because you shouldn't leave the interface plugged in at all times like you might do with other things). With this strip I can unplug with ease as it's plugged into the 2.0 in back but the strip is upfront for easy access. It also gives me a number of extra ports, which is great, works excellent too.

I purchased this to replace a 4 port hub with one port malfunctioning; so effectively 3 ports. The expansion has been great. I no longer have to remove one USB to install another. I keep 3 ports filled with 2 printers etc and have 4 ready for temporary needs.

I bought this one because I liked the idea of getting 7 USB ports in a small profile. Works fine but gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it only works sometimes with my I-phone. The I-phone is finicky - I've had issues with other hubs so this might not be a fair ding on this hub...

With all the peripherals today extra USB ports are needed & this unit fits the bill. I would have preferred a switching hub to toggle between two computers, but setting up a network solved the need for switching.

This USB hub has given my mac book pro 7 additional ports. As a DJ here in town, and a tech geek I rely on being able to connect as much hardware as possible. I can do it all with this device. This USB hub supports both 2.0 and 3.0 version and works great with both at fast speeds. I would recommended this for anybody trying to give their computer more USB connections.
