I am not too familiar with surge protectors other than you want a higher joule rating. For the price, the 3000-joule rating was what sold me. I have my iMac, printer, and a few other accessories on this strip. So far so good.

Looks great - lots of outlets - setup was quick. Got a new one for house and second for daughter to take to college.

This protector was exactly what I was looking for. Great warranty for connected items and it has a high Joule rating.

Because it's a surge suppressor, I suppose the only way I'll know that it failed to do its job is if I find my home computer fried! The indicator light is lit, so that is a good sign that it is working (hopefully). I searched around and this was a very good price. So, so far, so good!

The Belkin 8-Outlet Surge Protector works very well.

Was a no brainer installation, although the coaxial connectors at the end are too close to each other, making it difficult to screw on the cable ends. You will need to buy an extra coax cable if you plan on using the coax protection feature. If you don't use the coax protection, then there are no problems. Excellent price for the level of protection. Haven't had any power failures yet to see how it stands up to them, but my previous experience with Belkin shows the surge protector will get damaged before allowing the connected equipment to get damaged, in most cases.

This is a great surge protector. I was shopping around and this one caught my eye. I like it and it blends in and gets the job done.

This surge protector has protected the many electronics plugged into it through many lightening storms.

First of all, this surge protector has a relatively high joule rating for surge protection. . The higher the joules rating, the better it can protect against power surges. I have 2 new power theater seat chairs, and 2 lamps connected, so I feel secure they are safe.

after doing some homework purchased this item to protect sensitive 50" tv and components. True test is after an electrical event. Easy to read LED's and adequate extension length.

The arrangement of outlets is the best I've seen for computers and accessories.

Not much to say. It's a surge protector and it's doing what it's supposed to do. We needed it to handle our electronics and so far so good. I also bought one in white for my parents.
