Bought this for my wife who's laptop would sometimes heat to the point it burned her legs. Since getting it, the computer itself makes almost no noise, and my wife is happy, so I'm happy

I needed to replace another cooling pad. I did some research and this was rated very highly. It was a reasonable price. I'm sure glad I purchased it's very quiet and easy to maintain.

It's about the size of a lap top, so it's not too bulky. It connects to the lap top as a power source. It's great for keeping your lap top from overheating when sitting on the bed with blankets and other things that can over heat your lap top.

For what it is, this unit works great. I also think that, for what it is, it could be a bit lower in price. But thus far, we've had no issue cooling both laptops we have used on it. Its not noisy and keeps the lap cool!

I like to use my laptop while sitting in the middle of my bed. I don't have to worry about my laptop getting to hot on my legs or bedding. This is the second one I have purchased. My youngest son took my first one to college with him!

I always worried about how hot my laptop got. A friend recommended this product and I am so glad I got it. It truly takes the worry out of it overheating. I highly recommend one.

The Belkin Coolspot Laptop Cooling Pad is definitely keeping my computer cooer. I could use a couple more inches in width to accomodate the size of my laptop, but even so the laptop stays in place.

My pc was constantly running hot. The pc fan would run like a jet engine winding up. Since getting the Belkin Laptop Cooler it hasn't done it once. Great product.

The cool pad works great. It prevents my PC from overheating and subsequently shutting down unexpectedly. I was thinking about getting a new laptop but this has enabled me to keep the one I have indefinitely.

My admittedly cheap business laptop had been overheating and shutting down for a while, but when it did so three times in the course of one morning, I knew something needed to be done. I'd purchased lap tables in the past to alleviate similar problems and had mostly negative results, so this time I was determined to get something with an actual cooling fan. This was one of the least expensive options I could find, and I debated going with something "higher end," but I'm glad I didn't because it's worked like a charm. I've been using it for a month or so and haven't had a problem since. Even better, it's powered through my laptop's USB drive (via a three inch cord), so there are no extra dangling wires to worry about.

My laptop was getting very hot. I always used a lap board, but it didn't help with the heat. I got the Coolspot and it has been great. So far, so good and I have been using it about a month now.

I'm an not very knowledgable in technology but I know enough to understand that this item is suffecient for keeping my laptop cool while in use and worth the $20 I paid for it.

Over all for the price is a very good chill pad. There are higher priced ones out there that work better but with a teenager that breaks things and uses it 5 to 6 hours a day I only buy this one

I can't give this product five stars because the design requires that I balance my laptop all lopsided in order to direct the airflow at the hottest part of my laptop (top left where my power fan is no longer functioning) because the fan on the Belkin is in the center. HOWEVER, it may be the best cooling pad I have ever owned and for me, spending $40 on a cooling pad that actually works in place of my laptop's broken fan versus paying $800 for a new laptop far outweighs the inconvenience of lopsided balancing.

Our laptop use to get real hot and we would have to shut it down until it cooled down. With the cooling pad it does not do this any longer and we can stay on the computer as long as we want to.

Bought this for my Dad's laptop and it is great. The laptop was always heating but once this unit was plugged in via USB, the onboard fan kicked and cooled the laptop properly. Enjoy !!

I really like this cooling pad. I usually use my laptop for hours, and this cooling pad keeps it cool all the time, making me feel that my laptop will not get damaged for overheating.

When looking for a laptop fan we saw there were not that many to choose from. This works fine as described, although you must be sure to line up the fan to the vent. Very easy operation.

Great inexpensive way to keep your laptop cool during extended use. Plug and play with the USB connection makes it so easy to use.
