This cooling platform creates a great airflow under the laptop, and while a tiny bit loud, it's not unbearable. Just plug in the usb cord to the laptop input, and you're ready to go. The laptop does move off the platform a bit too easily, but other laptops might have different structures and may be easier to use with this device. No real complaints, especially for the price.

Needed something to help cool an older laptop ....so I went to Best Buy. Looked at what they had to offer and picked this one. Price was great. So far I am very, very pleased with the cooler. If you need it ....go to Best Buy

This is an ABSOLUTE must for any laptop! Great fan! Great size! The USB power source is genius! It automatically shuts down with the computer! It's quite! It is ergonomically designed for typing. Overall AWESOME

my laptop have a good grip on this product, never once it slip or slide. also, it doesn't get hot as much as it's used to. i really like this product. a lot quieter than my first one and it's inexpensive.

Excellent in terms of looks, working and price. I needed to cool my laptop. This does the trick without even turning it on. It is elevated which keeps the cooling fan free and makes it ergonomic.

When my sales rep suggested this, I thought he was suffering from some sort of mental lapse. But I bought it anyway. And I love it. No, I don't use it all the time, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis. No, wrong product. If you're used to working on a laptop, I'm sure you experience the hot bottom (on the computer) when you do processor intensive tasks like rendering video or direct to disc recording. This little gadget keeps your bottom cool, extends the life of your battery and processor, and doesn't burn your legs while you're working. Just buy it.

I got this as a replacement for another brand that cost more and stopped working after a couple months. It runs quieter and fits my laptop comfortably. It`s not bulky and is lightweight. Great buy!!!!

very helpful to keep laptops/notebks prone to overheating cool. only issue is eventually the cable can fray because it is a little too short

Works as described. Works great! You still have to be mindful of your clothes blocking the fan if you are using it on your lap. Simply unplug fan if that's an issue. I love it!

For $20 its a great buy. It keeps the laptop cool. Its a bit loud, but it helps with the laptop temperature so it doesnt bother me. Definitley would recommend to anybody.

I purchased this to keep my laptop from over heating and it works great. It also serves as a sort of table to make typing easier. The price was great it is well worth it.

Have to plug in for fan effect and fan is kind of loud but its worth for 12 bucks

Solved the problem of overheating that fried prevous laptop. Ready to use. Tilts laptop. Quiet. Should be no problem.

Does the job for the price. Wish the USB cord was longer, but other than that it's great. My laptop is an HP and they put the vents on the bottom, well after two hours it shuts down to prevent overheating. This cooling pad lets the laptop stay on for hours.

This is the best thing I have bought for my desk top and computer. I had trouble seeing the keyboard on my new laptop. Now that my laptop is on a slight angle, I have no problem seeing it anymore. Also, the little fan in the middle of it plugs right in to the side of my laptop when I need to cool it down if it gets a little too warn. I am so glad I bought this product. With this and my wireless Mouse I am now a very happy computer person.

For the price, this unit is a great bargain. Do not have issues with a hot lap while computing.
