Setup is fairly easy. You can different names for the 3g and 5g networks as well as different security. I would have given it 5 stars but I had an issue after about a week of use and had to update the firmware. In hindsight, I should have updated the firmware in the beginning.

I did everything from my phone, no software to install. All of my devices immediate saw the router and we were up and running within 15 minutes of taking it out of the box. I would highly recommend it.

It's Good, but Things Don't Always Reconnect

And there are many times when, randomly, my laptop or smart phone can't connect & I have to re-enter the password. At first I thought it was an issue w/ my devices, but it has happened with 4 different devices, so I'm thinking the router is the issue. And that's just frustrating.

This is an unusual behavior for the router. There is a possibility that this is caused by signal interference. You can try to forget the network on your devices, then set a static wireless channel on your router. Also, make sure that the firmware is up to date.

The constant resetting drove me crazy

Cons: The unit kept resetting at least 5-10 times a day. Customer service was not great, not the worst, but not great. Returned it after a week of dropped connections due to the incessant resetting. So spend the extra money on a better router. I got an Asus RT-AC68P and I couldn't be happier with it.
