I purchased this router a month and half ago. The router does not allow you to assign a permanent IP address for your server devices, ie...NAS, wireless printers and the like. If you need to access devices by IP address your access is restricted/prevented when the router has dropped the connection and reassigns the IP. The regular loss of internet connectivity was definitely not conducive to placing an online order or work task. Even though it was easy to use the setup wizard, the software lacks the flexibility you would expect to find in a good router for management.

I was looking for a much faster router due to streaming content on multiple devices. With this router I have great range that covers the entire house and amazing speeds. Great router for the money!

Extremely easy to set up using an Ethernet cord from the original Frontier modem. Coverage is sufficient (needed to get a stronger signal on other side of house) and speed test show excellent speed. The one problem I have had is even though ipad is connected tends to not work well with all webpages. Could be a Frontier issue but have not connected them. Overall way above quality of extender.

Directions were easy to follow. Easy Setup. Wish the second router name was picked up by ALL my devices for gaming but overall, I'm satisfied with the product's performance.

We mainly needed an updated router in order to get better reception for streaming video and this product is serving the purpose. Set up was easy. Range is good.

I had no trouble setting up the the router and I have been using the router for about 3 months an still so far no problems excellent would buy again.

Half the price of similar routers at the store. Easy set up. Works with my thermostats iPad tv and all my other devices. Can't beat it for the price.

I was tired of renting a modem and router from the internet company. I didn't want to buy one of theirs. I talked to some friends and they said a high quality router was more important than an overly expensive modem. This router seems like a good middle of the road to high end. It was on sale I think for about/less than $200. It has dual band which is important and it is compatible with the two main types of modems (depending on which type of signal your internet provider uses). The main thing I like is the strength of the wifi signal and the range. Currently in a two story Duplex it reaches all areas at maximum signal strength. Also, multiple devices seems to have no ill effects at all. I have all the household devices connected wirelessly which includes two cell phones, two laptops, two TV boxes, a Playstation 3, Nintendo DS and a 3DS, and a printer. Set up was fairly easy, just put in the installation disc and follow the instructions.

The set up was as easy as 1, 2, 3. The router worked flawlessly for the desktop, laptop and range extender for our cell phones. On October 7 Belkin began to have connectivity problems with a number of their routers, including this model. After calls to my ISP (Time Warner) and numerous times trying to connect to Belkin, we were made aware of the problem by my ISP. After following Belkin's instructions for re-establishing contact with the internet numerous (more than 10) times, I contacted Best Buy and was told to return the router, as it is covered under warranty. Since this was my first introduction to Belkin products. and in searching , discovered this was not the first time this type of issue has occurred, needless to say, the near impossibility to contact Tech Support and the failure of the unit to reconnect leads me to look at other brands of routers.

So easy to set up, even a monkey can do it! Fastest wireless internet speed I've ever experienced for my home office, not just when it jumps from page to page, but also when it downloads files. Time is money. It's well worth the extra $50 to buy this AC model instead of the next step down, which is the N Router.

This is a great low priced high quality router. It supports my laptop, iPad & smart phone; my daughter's iPad & smart phone; and my 8 year old's and my husband's smart phones in different rooms of the house at the same time! I thought for the price we would have slow streaming and internet speeds but so far, we've been good to go! Thanks Best Buy staff for help picking it out!

reasonably priced, does the job. only had to reset once (which was a huge improvement on previous routers for me)

I realized my streaming was not strong enough, even with a high speed modem, until I heard about the new AC/Router. I was using a belkin N/Router and familiar about their ease of use. And I wanted to stay with the same brand. Connection was straight forward and easy and doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk. Best upgrade made that handles multiple wireless connections.

The wireless router is pretty good. At times it will lose connection but I am not sure whether that is my internet company or the router. I would like to think its the equipment from my internet company because the wireless router was brand new and pretty expensive. I would definitely recommend this router to someone who needs it to stream Netflix or surf the web. Not a gamer so I'm not sure if it's good for that

Got this baby home, hooked it up, and WOW! It Wicked Fast! .......ZOOM!!! I would have a personal sign-on, a media sign-on (for tv and such), and a guest sign on. The only hang-up I have with it, is its constant need to reset itself if I am working on my desktop (to which it is connected by ethernet cord). Hence the 4/5 stars.

Not at all my area of expertise. Excellent advice from salesman at my Best Buy store on what unit to buy. Had TWC come out to do the install, along with other work, and the technician offered that I had bought "...the perfect unit for my needs." Kudos to Best Buy for not pushing me into a more expensive unit that I didn't need.

I bought this to gain some speed on my wireless system. I found it did have some issues. I placed it in the same place as my Belkin N router and found the signal was no where near as strong. After playing around I was able to find a location/angle that gave all of the wireless systems got a decent signal. I am able to pull the maximum speed my ISP provides, but it was a lot more work than I expected.
