    Very Short Armband

I am an avid runner, and in a recent running accident, I smashed my 6th generation ipod nano. Due to the timing of the release, I replaced it with the 7th generation. Finding a suitable sports armband has been a problem. The Belkin product is lightweight and the manufacturing quality appears decent, but the armband is woefully too short. If the wearer has small biceps, it may work, but a male with even average biceps is going to have a problem, especially if worn over a long-sleeved shirt (forget about a running jacket). I'm sure that the short armband is an attempt to reduce manufacturing costs, but this decision is probably going to cost Belkin sales. I really can't comment on any other aspect of the armband, because when I found it wasn't going to fit without serious circulation issues, I tossed it. Just for user information, I am not a gym rat, am 6'1" and weigh 190.

    Ok Arm Band

Comfortable. It cinches weird and has a little too much play between the plastic and ipod face. The earphone jack is a snug fit too.

Good quality band but could be bigger

Overall, I'm happy with the product quality and the price I paid but the band needs to be a little bit longer because I don't really even have big arms yet it's just barely big enough.

    Too bulky

Thought this would do the job for my new nano 7. It's very bulky for the tiny Ipod Nano 7 and isn't easy to put on. The only hole is for the earphones... no opening for the USB port (you have to remove it from the armband to sync/charge) or the side volume controls which you need to access if using the radio. Really poorly designed. Returning this one.

    Comfortable fit

I bought this as an alternative to the belt clip. My workout shorts don't have belt loops, so this is ideal. Some people have had problems using their device's touch screen through the plastic panel, but I didn't have any issues. It's comfortable to wear, and stays secure. The only negative is that the velcro band probably isn't long enough for someone with larger biceps.

    don't buy this

    1) i don't know what weird idea of twig-like arms this company thinks people have, but if you plan on putting it on your upper arm and you are not skinny - forget it. I can only put it the equivalent of one notch on a belt and it leaves a mark when I am done working out. 2) it is difficult to control your ipod with the plastic cover wrinkle 3) it is impossible to change the volume when using the Nike software, as this requires the hard volume button 4) it is made a material that sucks up the moisture from your arm. In other words, if you sweat, it creates a fog between the plastic and the IPOD. What's the easiest way to break an IPOD? Get it wet? Seriously, I had one from this manufacturer previously that did the same thing and it broke my IPOD. Finally) it's like they developed this just to look pretty and not be functional at all.

    Snug Fit

Thought this product was a one-size-fits-all. I could barely get the band past my elbow. It feels like a blood pressure cuff. I'm guessing it'll come off the first time I do a couple of bicep curls. Will need to pass this down to one of my kids. Next time I'll do a more thorough review of the product, specs, and other reviews. On a more positive note, the material does appear to be very durable. Would recommend only if your biceps are less than 15 inches.

    Too Expensive, Short Armband

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The first review was pretty spot on about this product. I consider myself a skinny guy, I have muscle but not any big arms by any means. The strap length is barely enough to reach over, it attaches to the very bottom of the material after a tight pull. I'd imagine it would get harder to strap on and stay strapped after it's worn out over time. Not to mention this is way overpriced, shouldn't be more than $10.

Difficult to use iPod while in case during workout

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have always purchased either Apple or Belkin iPod carriers and been satisfied. Unfortunately trying to swip the iPod Nano's screen during workouts is difficult while being warn on my arm. The side buttons are also difficult to press while inside the Belkin carrier but on the positive it is very sturdy and waterproof which is important to avoid killing my iPod from sweat during a tough workout.

Too Short For Your Average Person

    Posted .

My wife bought a 7th generation Ipod for christmas to use on my runs and working out. I'm 6' tall and 170 lbs, and this armband just barely fits on the largest setting. I think it will still cause issues with circulation if I used it. The only good thing I can say about it is if you are much smaller, and have little arms, it seems to be a great armband, the quality looks very good. For the majority of America though, this will not work. It's going back to the store for a refund.

    good product except...

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My husband bought one of these, and it wouldn't fit around his bicep. He's an average height, average build guy, so I can't figure out why Belkin would make the arm band so small. I started looking on the package to see if it came in different sizes, but no, apparently it's intended to be a one-size arm band. Other than that, the material felt good, and it seemed like it would be comfortable to wear as long as you don't have to cut off your circulation to get it on.

I needed something to keep the Nano out of clients hands so they wouldn't fiddle with it when in use. This is perfect. I expect it someone wanted to use it while exercising it would be excellent as it is light and comfortable.

Does the trick and holds the ipod in place but is large and tight on the arm and hard to adjust the volume.
