Location is very critical since metal screens and doors and other thick solid objects absorb or reflect RF energy.

But usually at least once daily, it suddenly has a connection issue, which then causes our internet and wireless cable to freeze up. I need to unplug it for awhile to let everything reset. I contacted Belkin customer support, they checked and made sure the firmware was updated, helped me change the WiFi channel to make sure I wasn't on an overloaded channel, but I still have the same issues.
