I thought it was sand it came off within a few hours. Put it back on and double checked and didn’t have a problem with it after that.

The plastic is so fragal that when you tighten the screw, it flush with the plastic case it shattered. Also after you break the plastic you can un-latch the cable.

It kept my airtag in place and was not lost. The screw can get a bit stuck when trying to unscrew it, but this is a great product otherwise.

I can't even count how many different AirTag holders that I have purchased. This one ticks all the boxes in what I was looking for.
