This little bit of tech does the job it's supposed to do, but it was a bit pricey, I thought.

I purchase this item to connect new 2018 ipad pro with imac that doesn’t have usb-c port. I have several** micro usb to usb cables so I connect this adapter to micro usb end and plug into ipad pro and other usb end to imac. It worked and recongnized my ipad pro and charged. This adapter was cheapest option to connect new ipad pro with usb-c to imac without usb-c. **some micro usb to usb cables didn’t work.

Simple little widget that takes a USB micro and converts its male end to USB-C. For $8, saves the cost of buying new chargers or having to carry a second charger if you still have stuff that takes its charge from USB-C tipped charger. I keep one at home, at office, in bag and in car.

With a lot of micro-USB cords in different size and colors it is a waste to have them literally dangling just waiting to be thrown out. Then comes this little attachment that lets me go back to picking out my cord for the day. It clicks on firmly with no issue of data transfers or charging.

Bought this item to solve my not being able to readily connect my cell-phone from any one of two quick-charge external /portable battery chargers that came with a USB -C to USB Micro cable. Item is of high quality. Simply works.

There's nothing more annoying than a charging cable change when you upgrade. Yeah USB C might be better but what to do with the bazillion micro USB devices. Don't freak out if it seems like your charging speed is slower.. it's the old cable.. not the adapter.

Does its job and does it well. O would recommend it. It's a great adaptor.

I use this at home because it is more expensive than the dollar store ones. The quality is better and it seems to charge faster. I still use the dollar store ones because it's cheaper. When I bought this a couple of yrs ago, they were hard to find.

It is small and easy to use. Also, it is easy to lose. If possible leave on the cable you use it with most. Good that you can still use USB cables to charge with this. Our new phones are USB-C easier as you don't have to figure out which way to put the cable it works on both sides. Thought our old charging cables would be useless, but thanks to this device can still use them.

Use this to connect old chargers with new phone. Why buy new ones

This is a great adapter, it keeps the quick charge, and it is a perfect fit!

It works. It charges and stuff. Woo hoo. Charged my phone good. Oh yeah.

For many years I have used cell phones that used the micro adapter. The new one uses type-C. I have many cables in my cars(5), home, motorhome, garage etc. It would be cost prohibitive to replace all the cables. This adapter solves the problem.

I purchased 2 of these for my daughter and her fiance who both have Samsung S8's which use a different type of charging cable. This little adapter is just what was needed for them to continuing using all of their already owned items which used a standard micro USB.

I wasn't happy that the old Samsung phonecharger cable doesn't fit my new one Had to get this adapter Samsung needs to pay attention Best buy came through with the adapter for car, work and home chargers 7 dollars a piece

The phone manufacturers frequently change the connectors for phone models and adapters like this are a cheaper option than buying new power cords every time you change phones. The BB Insignia store brand is even cheaper but they were out of stock.

I had no clue they made small adapters for the micro to Type C USB. I was glad when the Best Buy rep found this for me. I can keep all my old chargers and add this to the tip. It's less than 1", so doesn't take up any extra space in my purse!

I bought this when I got my new phone but had all my micro USB chargers and it turned out to be a cheaper option then buying a new cable. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a tether to keep it from getting lost. Time to hit my 3d printer!
