Considering this item lets me keep on the move and charge my Apple Watch, it's a nice item to have. However, it's also a little tricky to use on the go. For one thing, it's heavy. Yes, I realize it's a battery, but I was hoping for something more along the lines of the portable battery I have for my iPhone. That's fairly compact and connects by USB which allows me to stick the battery in my pocket or purse and keep using my phone.
This battery is large and can only be used by laying the watch on the magnetic charging pad. It's a little cumbersome, but it's better than nothing and it does charge my watch well.

When I get up in the morning, I take my watch off of the charger to put it on my wrist. I do not like unplugging the charger to take it to work with me (waking up my wife in the process) or even keeping track of that LONG cable throughout the day.
This charger lets me carry power for my phone and Apple watch with the least inconvenience. I am enamored by the fact that the watch charger is built into the battery. It looks beautiful and works well, even though a 2.1 amp USB port would have probably been more useful.
I am VERY happy with this product!

I work 10+ hour days. My phone is always streaming music or podcasts via Bluetooth to help the day go by. This really takes a toll on my battery. Having this charger handy makes me not have worry about running out of power. It also works on my watch. I usually don't have an issue with my watch running out of power, but it's there if you need it. This Valet Charger usually lasts me the week at work. I let it charge overnight, and then I'm good for about another week.

Great 2-in-1 battery pack

I have the Apple Watch Sport (1st generation) aka a Series 0 Apple Watch. For me, it easily lasts a full day but if I forget to charge it at night, it doesn't quite make it through day 2. At least, that _was_ the case until the Pokemon GO watch app was released. Now that I use that app to track "workouts" I am always running my Apple Watch battery down by mid-day. I already use a dock-style charger to charge my watch overnight, so I could take my original charging cable and plug it into a charger or battery pack, but instead Belkin's new Valet Charger Power Pack ends up being a more elegant solution.
This is basically a 6700 mAh battery pack with an integrated magnetic charger for all Apple Watch models. Like most rechargeable battery backs in general, it uses microUSB to charge, comes with a cable but no charger. It does, however, draw up to 2.4A when charging to speed up that process. It has a four LED display to roughly show the current charge capacity. It also has a USB port for charging a second device at the same time, although the max output is 1A.
As you would expect for Belkin, it is MFi certified so it should continue to work going forward after software and hardware updates.
Overall, I like the size and the elegance of the design, although at $99.99 the price is really up there. You would think at that price point they would also include a nice Lightning cable and a charger. Also, it would have been nice for the USB port to supply up to 2.1A or 2.4A of current since the iPhone 6 and newer can draw more than 1A. Still, it could be worth the price and convenience to be able to quickly slip off the Apple Watch, put it on the pack, and then slip it in your pocket.

Finally a travel charger for Apple Watch

I had been looking for a charger for my Apple watch and phone when I travel. Since there is rarely a usable outlet near the bed in many hotels, I wanted one that had a battery in it. This device filled my needs perfectly. I've powered both watch and phone overnight, and the charger still shows 3 of 4 lights of power left. I was hoping for a 3 day solution, and it appears I have found it.

Greatest Charger

This charger is great when I travel because I don't need to bring all my charger cables. I pack this and it charges my iPhone and Apple Watch for two full days. I usually only travel for one or two days so this is perfect. The recharging is very fast, faster than my Anko chargers and even came with a nice little pouch. Worth the money if you travel and don't like cords.

I travel frequently for work. Mainly 1 or 2 night trips. I used to have to bring the really long charger that came with my Apple Watch. Now, I just have this battery backup which has an Apple Watch charger built in reducing clutter in my bag and in my hotel room.

The battery pack is great if you have an Apple Watch, iPhone, or both. Comes with the cable to charge the battery, but no Lightning cable (which was expected).
Charges devices quite nicely and haven't had any issues with this.

A Good Product

I really do like this product and would recommend it. However, it does have one major issue. It takes quite a long time to recharge the device itself. I use other portable power packs and they take nowhere near as long as this one does to get up to a full charge (I don't use any power pack until it is fully charged) Other than that, though, there are no glaring bad problems. Once it is fully charged it works great, both for the Apple Watch charger and if I connect my iPhone to the portable power pack. However, the real test will be how long it lasts before the portable power pack stops working. I have had problems with Belkin products in the past that only last 3-6 months and then break down altogether. However, at this point I would say that this is a good product and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Lose the cable and stick with this when traveling

This is a combination charger for an iPhone (or other device) and an Apple Watch. Although the charging capacity is relatively less than those of similarly priced (or cheaper) battery packs, the main benefit here is the built-in magnetic Apple Watch charger. I never understood why Apple included *such* a long Apple Watch charging cable with the Watch. While I appreciate a long cable to reach from an outlet to a table, desk or nightstand, the one that comes with the Apple Watch is ridiculously long.
Regardless, with this Belkin, you don't have to worry about that. I see this as an advantage, especially when traveling.
Overall, a nice product from Belkin.

This item is great! When traveling, it can be difficult to find a way to charge my Apple Watch, without pulling out the long USB charging cable and plugging into a more traditional charging bank. This actually works well. It solved that problem by allowing me to plug a USB device and put my watch on it. I'd caution, that while it is magnetic, your watch won't just stay put when turned sideways. I was able to just put this in my bag, in a tighter pocket, and charge my watch on the go. This is a great accessory for those of you who want to charge a watch and your iPhone on the go!

Finally got my Belkin portable power pack for Apple Watch and I am so pleased with it. There is no question that this is a premium product. Beautiful design and feel.
Obviously it charges your apple watch but it charges up your phone or other device as well. Nice bright LED charge indicator is great too.
If you have an Apple Watch you NEED this. Don't know about you but I don't always remember to dock my watch when I get home. With this device it doesn't matter. You can charge it wherever you are and that is so great.

It works but...

Decided to test this out by allowing my iPhone 6s Plus to drain down to 19% before charging (solo without it charging an Apple Watch at the same time). Yes, it does its job. It charges your phone but it takes a few hours to get to 100% (just under 3 hours). Not that it matters if it gets the job done. But if you're expecting something "fast" you may be a little disappointed. Supposedly you're supposed to be able to use this 3 times on a single charge but I don't think that's possible. After my phone got to 100% I checked the gauge and it was down to 2 dots so realistically you can expect 2 cycles with the phone alone if you're charging a low battery. I imagine that the drain would be more on a double charge (with both the iPhone and the Apple Watch being charged simultaneously). This is definitely a convenient gadget allowing you to charge one or both items without anything extra (except your iphone lightening cable). I just don't know if I would say it's more worthy of the higher price tag. Time will only tell how well this holds up over time but if convenience is your need it definitely fits that bill.

It's possible to charge your phone, your watch, or both at the same time. It has the charging puck for your watch built in, so there's no need to carry around an extra cable. Good dimensions accommodate your watch and let you wrap the band around (or under). Can also be stood on end to enable your watch to enter nightstand mode while charging.

It is such a good idea to have the ability to charge the watch on the go!! When we stay at a hotel we can leave the other chargers plugged in at home and just bring along this great portable power pack. Don't leave home without it!!

Needs better instructions. I thought it was faulty because after charging I decided to try it and it wasn’t charging. I didn’t see the green dots light up like when I was charging it. I pressed on it and viola! Charging. Duh. I felt stupid. But didn’t see that in the instructions
I still give 5 stars because of what it does. Not because of my stupidity. Lol

I bought this expecting that it would work and it seemed like a great idea-I could charge my apple phone and iphone at the same time. Wonderful way to safe outlets when traveling and the charging up to 8 times for my watch would be great for power failures.
So I tried to charge it after buying it and reading the instructions. Then I tried to use it-well, that was my mistake. I actually expected it to work. It was a piece of junk, to put it mildly. I am unbelievably disappointed in this product-not only would I not recommend it to a friend-I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
