A single charge of its 6700 mAh battery refuels a watch up to eight times, and an embedded smart chip detects connected devices for automatic wireless charging. This Belkin Valet Charger power pack includes a USB port for simultaneously charging additional devices. Perfectfor me!!!

Initially I placed this device on a table and placed the watch on top. I must have bumped the table because the watch moved off the charger and I didn't notice. I figured out that it's better to wrap the watch band around this device and stand it up, then the watch stayed in place and received a full charge.

As a traveler I am always looking for devices that will help keep my devices charged when I'm on the road. For those of you who have an apple watch know that you will get a full day maybe a little more from the battery. I also get tired of dragging a bunch of cables with me. TSA gets upset sometimes when you just shove a bunch of cables in your carry-on ;) Enter the power pack. it's pretty slick looking and not too big for the job. It is a little on the heavy side but understand it is doing double duty charging both your phone and watch. And it does a very good job of this. Put your watch on the wireless charge and plug your phone in, press the power button and off you go. I haven't timed how long it takes to charge but it seems that it is right in line with any other wired charger. Overall, if you travel and have a apple watch and phone this is a handy accessory to include. I wish I would have had it on my flight to London!

The Belkin Apple Watch Portable Power Pack Valet Charger is a 6700 mAh (read powerful) portable battery charger. It can be used to recharge an Apple Watch (all versions to date) up to 8 (or more) times or an iPhone (iPhone 5 series to present) up to 3 times. One of each can be charged simultaneously. Smart chips automatically detect the connected device(s) to begin charging instantly, ensuring optimal, safe charging in the shortest possible time. A USB port connects via Lightning cable (not provided) to your iPhone. The 2 Amp total power, 2-in-1 portable battery delivers 1 Amp to the Apple Watch, and 1 Amp to the iPhone. At just 4.77” x 1.67” x.94” in size it is both pocketable or pursable. It has LED indicator lights to indicate change state. It also has a very nice build quality and appears to be rugged yet is stylish. It was named a CES 2017 Best of Innovation Awards Honoree.

No more need to carry and extra cable. I can charge my iWatch on this and iPhone at the same time. Charging does seems a little slow, but it gets the job done. A little big to carry in the pockets, but it's great for overnight traveling.

There are times where the Apple Watch runs out of power faster than other times so this is a great item to keep handy. I don't like to travel with the original charging station and appreciate having an alternative option.

This product was better than imagined. It’s well balanced, so I can leave it hanging over a night table in the hotel with the watch on one end without fear of falling. It powers my phone st the same time.

I needed a portable charger to use while traveling, so this combination of charger for my phone and Apple watch seems perfect. It was a little heavier than I expected, but is not overly large. It should be great for travel.

When I first heard of the Belkin Valet Charger Power Pack with an integrated Apple Watch charger , I thought it was a terrible idea. Not because Belkin makes bad products ( they make great products) but because it just does not make sense and the list price is too high at $99. But before I make it sound like it does not make sense for everyone, let me review the details about the item. So as mentioned above, the Belkin Valet Charger Power Pack has a built-in magnetic charging module to recharge the Apple Watch. It works the same way as the Apple charger that comes with the Apple watch. Additionally it has a USB out port for charging your iPhone ( or any USB chargeable device). It is capable of charging two devices at one time with an output of about 1 amp per device. That is the same output as a standard iPhone charger but half that of an iPad charger. I found it did charge the watch and phone at about the same rate as the OEM chargers. The Belkin Valet Charger Powerpack does not include lightning cable nor a wall charger, I would think at $99 list price, it would include both. It does include a micro USB to USB-A cable for charging. When I first took it out of the box , the charge was one bar out of 4. After 2 hours it was charged to almost 3 bars and after 4 hours it was fully charged (I do not know when it hit max charge.) I would consider that an average charging time. Build - As with nearly all the Belkin products, the build quality is excellent. It has an aluminum body and heavy duty black plastic around the magnetic watch charger. Well built and solid, the quality is high grade and what you would expect from a MFI Apple certified product from Belkin. Size - About 5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1 inches high. Not obscenely large but too large to carry in a pocket with a phone. Weight - I could not find what the exact weight is but it feels slightly heavier than an Iphone 6. I would put it at 5+ oz but cannot definitively say. So back to my original statement that the product does not make sense and it was not a good idea. Well , for me, it still just does make sense. First, the Apple watch battery lasts 18 + hours, so I cannot think of any time that I would have to recharge it when I am not home . If I really needed to recharge the Apple Watch, I could just carry the charger that came with the watch. Second, I can get a USB charger power bank with a larger capacity , smaller size and comparable technology for 1/3 of the price. Lastly, modern phones last so long depending on use and there are so many options for charging on the road that I would not use this. The Belkin Valet Charger Power Pack only has an output of 1.0 amp so to use it on an Ipad or other tablet does not make sense either ( it would take a long time.) Is this a high quality product – absolutely. It does exactly as it was designed to do and it does it well. At the $99 price point, I think there are better options at significantly lower prices so I cannot recommend the Belkin Valet Charger Powerpack for everyone. The addition of the Apple Watch charger is nice but more of a gimmick than a practical feature.

Item is very convenient and has enough power to charge phone and watch. Just wish I could charge both at the same time while charger is plugged into wall outlet. Also, wish it would have come with a lightning charger.

Having used several Belkin products over the years I have come to expect quality products from them.. This portable power pack for the Apple watch is no exception. The unit is solid and built well. It charges up fairly fast and does a nice job charging up my watch and phone. I can see this being very handy for folks going off the grid for a few days like hiking or camping. I myself find myself using it only in emergency situations if I forget to charge my watch one evening. Give how long my Apple watch will keep a charge, I question the usefulness of this for most people. It is also fairly pricey for a power pack of this size. But for those that may be away from power sources for a few days this could be a handy power pack,

Great Portable Charger for the Road

The Belkin Portable Power Pack is a simple but powerful (hehe - get it?) product. It’s a great way to charge your iPhone and Apple Watch while on the road. One of the biggest pains I’ve had with the Apple Watch is that it’s charger is not the most convenient to take on the road. I use a bedside TPU dock for the watch, which makes it even more of a pain to ‘pack’ the cable. Couple that with stupid expensive replacement chargers, I have no desire to ever move the cable from its secure home. This is where the Belkin charger comes in and works great! I’ve found that I can charge it during the day with a simple micro-usb and 1amp wall wart USB charger, and then it can effectively refill my iPhone and Apple Watch from the high 20% power range to full without fully emptying itself. This is great, since I can usually pull 2 days of moderate use from that amount of power. On the road this is a great device. It’s compact, fits great into a grid-it, and matches the aluminum finish of other Apple products. It weight is distributed away from where the Apple Watch charges. This is a great feature, as I use loop bands on my Apple Watch. I’m able to balance the device on the edge of a table and charge the watch without removing my band. If you have a sport or leather band, this won’t be an issue, but the design either intentionally or unintentionally allows you hang the Apple Watch charging portion over an edge. You could always just remove the watch band if you’re too worried about it falling. The device has a 4-led charge level indicator that is trigger as a button. This is handy, and it helps to know where the charge level is at. In my usage I don’t really need it (I cycle almost all the way down when I use it, as I charge both device from a low-power state), but it’s helpful to know what the status is in case it sits in my bag for a few weeks (which it’s too new for that, but I haven’t seen it lose much charge sitting around for a few days). I haven’t timed recharges on the device, as I don’t go through power on either the watch or phone fast enough, but it appears to charge the iPhone about as fast as a 1-amp charger, while simultaneously charging the Apple Watch (again about as fast as the out of the box charger). The only cons I can think of are that the MicroUSB cable that comes out of the box isn’t that long, nor is there a wall charger for it. You either use your Apple or other USB charger to charge it. Also you need your own lightning cable to charge the iPhone. I would have loved to see a full complement of cables for the price. All in all I think it’s a great product. It’s worked its way into my grid-it for my travel needs. With my usage patterns I could conceivably make it through an entire week starting from a full charge with this and a lightning cable. I definitely recommend this charger!
