Way Less Fying Oil
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did read several of the One and Two Star reviews to get an idea as to where some people may be having difficulty versus a poor product. Best Buy beat the competitors' prices, plus I got points for the purchase. Sweet! It's important to adjust the cooking time and temperature from conventional baking to "Air Frying". Sites on the Web offer click and point apps to do this. This is a far healthier way for me to eat, and I'm glad I finally got this one.

A little small.

It only fit 10 chicken wing drummettes in the bottom. I coated them with Hooter's wing breading and cooked them @ 375 for 25 min. & 5 min. @ 400 since they weren't really crispy. They definitely were NOT the same as fried ( either pan or deep ), not even close. Next time I'll try spraying them with oil even though that isn't recommended for the non stick coating to see if that makes any difference. I did run it empty on 400 for 10 mins. first and it did have a VERY strong burnt plastic smell. When I ran it the 2nd. time it was barely noticeable and I didn't taste it in the food. I hope this helps.
