    I give this basic toaster 5 stars because although its basic it does what it's supposed to do. It toast very well. The slots are small and the top gets full of crumbs but you put it on 4 and it toast perfect. I used to have a very sleek chrome large slot toaster that was expensive. It almost burned my house down. It set off smoke alarm whether you put on 1 or 4. I decided boring and inexpensive is best for me.

    Like this toaster! Had it for about 2 months and so far so good once you figure out it's heating range. I usually keep it on power level 2 and my bread comes out toasted a very pleasing and even medium brown. The operating mechanism is smooth and controlled. When finished the bread is ejected slightly and there is a very satisfying pop. Toasts evenly enough for me, not perfect. I got this in deal of the day for $10.
