There's no timer or little "ding" on it and would get distracted, so the first few times they came out a little toasty. Overall good product and enjoy using it at home for those late night donut cravings.

I haven’t used it since, that is the reason I was cautious of purchasing an item like this. But what could you expect for a $15 item ( to last longer, I guess). I noticed that there was a missing piece while I was rinsing off the soap and then saw the green lens at the bottom of the sink. I would suggest that you keep this in mind, if you decide to purchase this item.

Used it a few times and now it's just another thing taking up space on my cabinet. May be fun if you have kids. But you can only make cake donuts. It cooks unevenly and burns the center donut if you don't watch it.

Bad design that doesn't allow you to put mix in before it heats up thus over-cooked on one side. Nice fun for kids but gets very hot...even the red plastic housing. Disappointing how small it is when you receive it. Got it for about $5 so I don't feel ripped off.

Very useful replacement for deep frying
