I was very surprised at how well it cooked the waffles. We used tor the 1st time on Christmas. It was a hit with my family. The waffles cooked evenly and the tray helps if you pour too much in. My only issue is once the light turns green to notify you the waffle is done, sometimes the waffle is still uncooked. So what I normally do is leave it in for few more seconds. Definitely worth the purchase .
