It is a good product but the quality that you expect is what you'll be paying for... Also a friendly advice, if your carafe breaks or the portafilter gets damage, you won't be able to get a replacement part from the company, and they won't offer you a solution. it might be best to invest on something better backed up by the company.

My wife and I love this machine. We use it every day for the espresso. It works really well and is easy to setup.

A joy to use, this coffee machine puts to shame units costing hundreds more. The drip side makes excellent tasting and HOT brewed coffee. The espresso side will make you think you're at a Cafe in Italy or Vienna.

Excellent, but there is a learning curve because directions are not great. But very happy, and loving the milk steamer.

It's difficult to operate and almost impossible to get the right hand side to brew at all... they got the idea that the only way to brew on that side is by "programming" the coffee maker, there is no button to start brewing whenever you want... so you "program" it to brew and it just keep jumping times and indicating a later time to brew... until you get to the next day... I give it a 2 starts only because I can brew espresso which is basically what I like...

The instructions are horrible I had to watch u tube videos setting it was really not easy

It glitched a bunch, and was really loud. I had to return it.

I've been looking for a replacement for my 23-year old Krups espresso / coffee combo machine. It's great to have both options in one unit. I purchased it based on the good reviews here. The unit leaked water the first time I used it to make espresso. I'm returning it to Best Buy but won't get a replacement. The housing is cheaply made, and I can't see it lasting very long under the 19-bars of pressure it uses to make our daily espresso.

Makes great coffee and the espresso part works well. Highly recommend

Stay away from not only this machine, but the entire brand. The manufacturer refuses to stand behind the product. First the expresso handle broke. The manufacturer does not offer a replacement part to order. After finding a replacement on Amazon, then the heating cracked. Finally the carafe cracked. Do not buy!

Received as a gift. Espresso worked fine but the coffee pot side did not. Spent 6 hours on Christmas day, off and on, trying to make coffee. Returned for an espresso only machine. Simple is better.

Tried to be patient & figure how operate it- (didn’t realize problem was bc it was broken, defected brand new expensive piece trash!) College educated w/common sense but cannot get it to work!! Instructions useless, vague-lacking basic information. We have tried several times to use but never worked. NOW REALIZE HAD TO BE DEFECTIVE BUT TOO LATE RETURN as too late -we’d get frustrated and have wait another time try it again. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you enjoy frustration without your coffee!

I bought this machine based on good online reviews. The first unit functioned once. I exchanged it for a replacement unit. That unit functioned a few more times, very few. Returned for a full refund. Will try separate machines instead of an integrated unit.

cheap plastic, stops working after 2 years. The hot water makes plastic parts bulge and the lids loose the shape.

Returned after a week. Espresso side gave out after 4 days and the pot followed. Steam wand worked once and didnt heat up after that. Go with a classic pot or spend the $$
