Poor quality control; no replacement carafe sold

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ours was defective right out of the box: The "Program" function blinked constantly no matter what we did, which was hugely annoying in itself but compounded by the fact that didn't work when you pressed it. Another point to consider: Bella doesn't sell a replacement carafe. At all. We couldn't find any third-party replacement (we had an older model of this same unit), so if yours breaks you'll be buying an entire new coffee maker.
