When I first got this I wondered how many things I cook at different temps, justifying this unit. But first I must note, this unit is not to be used to heat/boil liquids, the drawer are not intended to hold liquids. What I really wanted to try was some onion rings that I had in my freezer for some time, based on the package it seemed like they should cook for about 15m total, turning a little about half way throught. Much to my suprise, when I started using air fry, the unit has a shake reminder that alerts you when you should turn/shake, The baskets on each side hold 4 quarts, the trays hold your cooking object about 3/4" off the bottom allowing air to circulate in the fair small space. I put about half my onion rings on the trays stacking them about 4 high, probably making 10-12ozs. Just as I started, I got another request from my visiting daughter, asking if it could make a toasted cheese; I thougth this was fair request, and it allowed me to try the dual cooling. I decided I was going to bake then broil the grilled cheese. I lightly buttered both sides of some sourdough bread, and put 4 slices of colbly jack cheese in between the non buttered sides. I placed it in the other side of the oven on the tray. I allowed it to bake for 5min at 325, the side on the tray, showed a little crisping, and the cheese was melting. I turned it over and but on broil for 2min. Since you can't see inside the units, you have to guess at something like this. Just before my 2 min was up The shake alarm on my onion rings went off. They were cooking but clearly not done. I did some re-arranging with chopsticks, and let them continue cooking. The toasted cheese was browned nicely on the top, but not the bottom; so I flipped it and gave it another 1m. Once that timer went off, I removed it and admired my work. I'm glad I did not cook any longer as the crust was getting close to burning. By the time my daughter arrived I was just taking out the Onion Rings (I did add 1 more minute to the cooking time. The were easy to dump out on a paper towel on a plate. They were an oily crisp that the paper towel helped absorb the hot oil. They smelled great, but more importantly my daughter thought the tasted great. I got two, she got the rest, with her sandwich. So far so good, I but I miss not being able to look into the oven to see things cooking. Now I wanted to see how long it would take to bake a 1lb potato. I put it on bake for an hour at 350. It was getting done, so I gave it another 30m. I suspect at 400, the potato would have finished in an hour with crispy skin. I prefer a softer more leathery skin, which is what I got when I finished cooking in 90m. So far so good, I can see why having two cooking temps/methods can help. I did find that the unit makes more noise when both sides are used at the same time, and the heat out the back is noticeably hot. They say you need 3" clear behind the unit, believe them. You certainly don't want anything plastic behind the unit. When baking the potato, there was some steam that came from the back. So be careful where you place this unit. It seems to cook pretty easily, but getting the trays out when they are hot is a little tricky, I almost think there should little handle, tool or something to help get it out. They fit snuggly and sharking/turning must be done carefully, other than this, and not having a window, I like the unit.

    Two Air Fryers in One

We have done a fair amount of cooking in our Bella Pro 8 qt. Dual Basket Air Fryer and it has a done a relatively nice job. The dual baskets and separate cooking areas allow you to independently cook two different items in the same air fryer. Its great for cooking a piece of meat in one basket while cooking vegetables in the other. The down side is that each basket is only 4 qt. so they are on the smaller side when compared most of the single ovens. I think it’s a decent size for a couple but not quite sure it is large enough for a family of four. You can somewhat overcome the smaller basket issue by using both baskets to cook the same food item but doing this somewhat defeats the purpose of buying a dual basket system. The overall design of the air fryer allows you to have dual baskets without requiring much more counter top space than a single basket air fryer. The air fryer does use rear vents as mentioned below so it may need to be moved out from the wall when operating. Cooking in this air fryer is simple because the controls and display are very intuitive and easy to understand. You choose from the 6 preset cooking modes, set the timer and the temperature and you are good to go. There is a sync feature that lets you coordinate the cooking time between the two baskets. This is a nice feature because all the food is finished cooking at the same time. Because of the design the Left and Right baskets operate independently and there is not any heat transferred so you can cook one side with very high heat while not affecting the other side that might be cooking at low heat. The overall build quality is good except for the crisping trays in the baskets. These trays are very thin and feel like they could bend fairly easily if not handled properly. Also because the trays are thin the crisping affect on various foods is not as good as it could be. The air fryer exhaust warm/hot air out two large rear vents so you have to be aware of what is behind the air fryer when you use it. I would recommend operating the air fryer in an open space or at least several inches away from anything that is behind it. The overall noise level when cooking is about the same as my older single basket air fryer. The baskets are easy to remove and easy to clean up thanks to the non-stick finish. Pros: - Dual baskets with totally separate cooking spaces and controls - No heat cross-over between the two baskets - Cooks fast and evenly - Six Preset Cooking modes (Air Fry, Bake, Broil, Roast, Reheat, Dehydrate) - Able to Sync both section’s cooking cycle - Easy to operate and to clean Cons: - Small basket size at 4 qts. - Two Large Exhaust vents in the rear so it cannot be close to the wall when operating - The basket trays are very thin metal and don’t provide much crisping - Touch panel is high gloss and really shows fingerprints and smudges

Let me start of by saying that I love our Bella Pro Series appliances. We got the Bella Pro Series Multi-Cooker with air fry over a year ago and its used almost every day and it still works great, but it’s a bit heavy so it’s not very convenient for my wife to move around. So, we got the opportunity to try out the new Bella Pro Series 8QT Dual Air Fryer and we figured we give it a try and we are we glad we did. The new dual air fryer is much lighter coming in at roughly about 18lb and measures about 12 H x 13 W and 9.5 D, and with a beautiful touchscreen display and nice matte black finish that will match any décor in your kitchen. The air fryer is ready to go out the box, but it is recommended that the both trays and the crisping trays are washed thoroughly before use to remove any remaining residue. The air fryer is curved on both ends so you need to make sure to place the proper tray in the proper slot. Both trays are marked with an (L) for left and (R) for right. Make sure both trays are inserted properly and fully or the unit will not power on, a mistake we learned from. Each try holds about 4 quarts each and a total weight of about 7 lbs. The dual trays allow you to cook foods separately at different temperatures, while also allowing you to sync both basket temperatures and cooking time at the same time. This unit can air fry, roast, broil, bake, reheat and dehydrate. It also has a pretty cool feature of reminding you to either shake or rotate your food so that everything cooks evenly. The unit has a maximum temperature of 450 Degrees and minimum temperature of 90 Degrees. And when the cooking is all done, you can place the trays and the crisping trays into the dish washer for easy cleaning. The unit is easy to clean with its matte black finish, all you need to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth and dry it off to make it look brand new. Usage: We have been using the dual air fryer now for few days and honestly, we just love it. We are able to cook two foods, two different ways. The shake reminder is an awesome feature that reminds you to either shake or flip your food to make sure it cooks evenly. The shake reminder is an audible tone that sounds about 5 times at about 2/3 of the cook time. We have made fries, which come out golden and crispy, we have made chicken wings, and baked potatoes just to name a few. Ever since we got our first Bella Pro Series Multi-cooker we had pretty much stopped using our deep fryer and switched over to air fry and we are never going back. The food is so much healthier and just tastes so much better. PROS: 1800 WATTS of Cooking power Large Capacity Dual Trays 2 foods 2 ways Sync temps on both trays at the same time Beautiful and Large Touchscreen Dishwasher Safe – NOT THE UNIT Lighter (Compared to the Multi-Cooker) 7Lb food capacity CONS: Not as heavy as the Multi-cooker, but still has some weight Overall, Bella Pro Series Dual Air Fryer is an appliance that will last you for years to come and will provide you with delicious and perfectly cooked meals all while looking beautiful in your kitchen. We love our unit and I am sure you will love yours as well. I would recommend that you try out this unit.

Sensio Bella Pro 8 QT Dual Basket Air Fryer Air Fryers are far too popular to let them remain simple, single chamber, look-alike, rapid-cook ovens. We’ve been using our current model for a couple of years, but we’re not against trying something that makes it easier to cook the way we do. We’re constantly reheating take-out meals, leftovers and prepared entrees while also looking to add some fresh “sides”, veggies, or potatoey treats to our dinners. This Bella 8QT Dual Air Fryer makes it pretty easy to accomplish. SETUP: 2 independent cavities have their own 4.0qt cooking baskets, and their own fans, and rapid heaters. Operation is no different from any other air fryer, but the Bella controls are intuitive and make it easy for you to use the added features. There are 6, directly accessible, smart, built-in cooking programs: Air Fry, broil, roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate. You can also directly select LEFT, RIGHT, or BOTH baskets depending on your current use. After you choose a side, you have access to the TEMPERATURE and TIME for that side, followed by any Temp or time for the other side. You can change your mind before or after you start cooking. 2/3 of the way through cooking you will get shake reminder tones unless you turn that feature off. If you want to have the same setting on both baskets, start on the LEFT side, program your cooking settings, and then “PRESS DUAL COOK”. If you want to SYNCHRONIZE the cooking so everything finishes at the same time, PRESS “SYNCH FINISH”. There is no need to remember any special button sequences. If you can accomplish a task, it’s all on the screen via a button press. The various settings are a bit touch sensitive, but I suppose that’s better than ignoring my presses. COOKING: Most suggested times for cooking while using both side of the Bella are increased by approximately 20% higher than just using the single basket. Bella offers a fairly complete chart in the instruction booklet. [I’d love to see higher quality guides from Bella, or maybe a recipe web link.] Our first effort involved crab cakes and french fries. We carefully arranges the crab cakes to maximize surface exposure on the left basket. We then did the same on the right side for the french fries. We set each side independently and selected SYNCH FINISH and watched the magic happen. The food is “held” suspended by the bottom plate, so leave that in for air frying. The food was very evenly cooked with a crisp outside, using the upper suggested times in the several online menus we found. There are many online recipes modified for Air Fryers. Just go a bit longer (20%) and check progress. You’ll catch on. NOISE LEVEL: Kudos Bella!! Dear readers will not know that I took Bella over the coals for what I described as a “howler” of an air fryer dating back over a year ago. Here, I’m using both sides of this new Bella appliance at high temperature in air fry mode. With both fans spinning away, it is barely hitting 67db and when one side has finished, it drops to 60dB. This is quiet and lovely to not hear. Very nice improvement. SUMMARY: We’re about to tackle some coconut shrimp and potato wedges. The Bella Pro 8 QT Dual Basket Air Fryer should have no problem tacking this type of dinner recipe mix. We’re pretty impressed with this Air Fryer. Bella is continually making improvements that makes their air fryers easy to use and easy to live with ..... and easy to recommend.

Absolutely Fantastic - my new favorite appliance

I had an air fryer before, so I already knew that I would like the functionality of an air fryer. This air fryer, however, has so many extra features that it has now become my new favorite cooking appliance in my kitchen. When I first unpackaged it and looked at the dual baskets, I thought each one looked too small to be practical....BUT, I successfully cooked three large chicken breasts and four cut-up potatoes to make an ample meal for three people without any problems at all. The best feature of this air fryer is the ability to use each side independently of each other, or use them together on the same settings. This is perfect for foods that have different cooking temperatures and times. After cooking the chicken, I sprinkled some cheese on top. The meal was delicious. I totally forgot about the air fryer when I did dishes that night, so the next day I thought the food might be stuck on the baskets - but the cleanup was amazing! I hand washed in soapy water and it took just seconds. The non stick surface of both the basket and the tray are better than any other cooking finish I've seen for cleaning. This appliance takes up a lot less counter space that I thought it would - and it beeps at you when its time to "shake" the basket - more bonus features that I appreciated. I definitely recommend this air fryer. The only negative thing I have found is sometimes I have to press the buttons on the digital display a couple of times to set things, but this will probably just take getting used to the pressure needed. Overall a fantastic air fryer!

I absolutely love this device. I literally use this almost every day. The multiple features allow for a broader range of use. The temperature is very accurate which means less cook time and guessing. I cook steak in it as well and it's to the point where it's my favorite way to cook it. The steak comes out super juicy everytime. You can give it a good outter crisp also but I admittedly prefer to do that part on the stove if I choose to. The two baskets are big enough to comfortably cook up to 20 wings at a time. They are super easy to clean. If you're on the fence about getting one trust me and just make the leap.

The buttons can be a little difficult to get working, so I definitely suggest checking it before the return period is up. With mine, the problem went away after some repeated use, but at first we could only get about half the buttons to work for us, which was frustrating. Otherwise, it is an excellent air fryer and has been an amazing easy and fast way to prepare food. It has been especially great for heating up simple freezer foods like chicken tenders, fries, pizza rolls, perogis, french toast, precooked fish, etc. and the food comes out nice and crispy. We have never burned anything or had anything undercooked, and the results can sometimes be better than ovens or microwaves with the right food.
