Nice looking blender but it doesn't power on

I tried charging it fully for 5 hours, but it still wouldn't turn on. This device had to be tested at the factory before distribution so it must have worked after it was assembled. The battery power light was flashing white and red when tested out of the box and after it was fully charged. I assume the lithium batteries used in this device are very poor quality and simply failed to hold the charge. I do not recommended this appliance at all.
